Summary: Can you say "SCARY"!!!!!!!!!!
Review: OK, maybe it's just me but i found this book humorous rather than scary. The character Scott is described to be so disturbed and off his knocker that it was completely unreal. To put it bluntly, Scott is a psycho. He has a psychological mental problem where he freaks out about every little "bad, naughty" thing. He believes everyone should fit into his conservative, traditional all american image and if they don't, well let's just say it makes him go a little crazy....killer crazy. lol. He hates girls who wear revealing clothes and trashy make up (not your typical guy, eh?), in fact he hates them so much that he just simply must kill them!! OK, does that sound rediculous to anyone else? R.L. Stine messes up when he doesn't give us, as the reader, any reason why Scott is this way. It would be much better if we could get some insight into Scott's past or maybe his family life to explain how he developed into such a freak.

Summary: Cosmetic Crazy
Review: Scott is the new guy in town, and Crystal is sure that wearing lots of make-up will attract him. But she was wrong. Scott loves to kill girls who put on girly stuff like blush and lipstick. This was a really good Fear Street book, but not the best. I like the kind of Fear Street books where you have to think about who the killer is. In this book, Scott is obviously the killer.

Summary: Heather's review
Review: This book is brilliant in the sense that it has you completely hooked, and you can read it more than once comfortably, though that applies to many of R.L. Stine's books. From the first chapter you know who the bad guy is, though the insight to his POV is pretty cool. Once you you really get into the story, you don't expect the ending entirely. A nicely written book and all around good read.

Summary: dustin
Review: This is about a boy who moves to a new town and kills girls who wear make-up and try to act to pretty. Crystal is that kind of girl and likes Scott but he doesn't like her at all. Crystals sister Melinda that is a plain girl is the one he likes, but when Crystal puts some make-up on Melinda, Scott gets's mad and decides he must kill Crystal to stop this. They kill him to save their lives. This is a good Fear Street book. I have read a couple of them and this is alright. I like them better when you dont know who the killer is but by far I would recommend this book to anyone.
