Summary: Good, but not very scary
Review: I was addicted to these books when I was younger and it wasn't until I was majoring in education in college that I figured out why. They were interesting with bizarre plot twists that most 9-12 year olds don't think about and they were short (usually between 110-130 pages). I could read the whole thing in a day.My parents also didn't have a lot of heartache with buying me a new book because these are relatively inexpensive (in the neighborhood of 3-5 bucks each). R.L. Stine's "Goosebumps" books aren't scary, just kind of creepy. There aren't graphic descriptions of murder and mayhem. Just some ghosts, werewolves, or potions. The main character is alive in the end, and the final chapter resolves everything. **Keep in mind, R.L. Stine has other books that aren't in the "Goosebumps" series that tend to be a little harsher when it comes to hauntings and plot. They are written more for the 12-14 age group and are longer (around 150-200 pages).

Review: Personally, I think that Haunted Mask was R.L. Stine's
biggest hit ever! It was the most thrilling and exciting book I have ever read in my entire life. This book is a hit for any Goosebumps fan like me. It is an edge-of-your-seat, heart-pounding, "Goosebumps"-giving thriller. Hats off to you, R.L Stine, for a job well done

This chilling story takes place on Halloween, the day and night of October 31st. This sets the mood on a girl named Carly Beth. She is a scaredy-cat. Most of the boy pranksters play jokes on her, like when they put worms in her sandwhich and she screamed. Then on Halloween day, right after school, she goes into this abandoned mask store and steals a mask. And that is where the fun starts. She can't seem to take it off and it becomes a part of her. Review: This book about a girl named carly beth, and She has the scaryest,ungyest,realest,smellest,mask and when she puts it on,carly Beth turns from a nice, but always scary girl,to a green purking, redeyes,sharp teeth beast, monster that loves to scary.Her voice changes and the mask tries to change carly beth into a crazy person so the mask can take over her.When she scarys someone the mask gets tighter and hotter and gets her more crazy.So will carly beth turn back to her nice self or will be forever the scary monster that she loves, and wants to become.

Review: This book is probably the dumbest book I ever read. It is stupid in plot and even the concept is corny. I evil mask. Whoo hoo hoo! I'm trembling in my boots! Tell me where does an author of good books come up with such a dumb idea for a book? I mean come on! R.L. Stine you can do better than this!
