Review: Well, I am lucky enough to have gotten 2 copies of the reprinting of Hyde Effect. 8 years ago I came across this book at
a used book store and have known what a good werewolf book could be like. Mr. Vance put the fear back into those hairy human hungry nightmares and I for one am glad that with the reprinting more readers out there will get the chance to feel the excitment and joy that comes with a good read that I felt those 8 years ago and that I am currently in the process of feeling all over again. I recieved both my copies on a Sat. and here it is Mon. and I have already read the book twice. This is the real deal when it comes to horror fiction. The only thing that could make my joy any greater since getting this book again is if I found out they where making a movie based on it. These days you can hardly get a guarantee on whether you will enjoy a book or not, but this one lives up to the hype of these reviews and then some. At [price] for the reprint it is a bargin. Trust me...your nightmares will thank you...

Summary: The single-most engrossing book I've read in years...
Review: When I picked up this book I thought "Another werewolf book. Hope it isn't TOO bad"... Boy, was I selling this book short... This was without a doubt the BEST werewolf story I've ever read. It's like "The Wolfman meets the X-Files"... Too good! Non-stop suspense/excitement! I highly reccomend this book for ANYONE who enjoys a good <great> horror/sci-fi story... NOT TO BE MISSED!
