Summary: Totally Awesome!!!
Review: R. L. Stine is one of my favorite authors for three reasons; One that, every book I have read of his is so good that you'd be crazy to put it down, two is that he is just such a good horror writer, and three he doesn't write baby stories of horror he puts in all the details no matter how gruesome which makes his books more interesting. The New Years Party is such a great book. I couldn't put it down!

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: A believable story, but Stine could've had a better ending.
Review: R.L. Stine does a good job(as he usually does) on this book. About an obsessive teenager who claims is Becka's best friend since grade school. The obsessive compulsiveness is very believable, cause I have one which is pretty scary and hard to read about another one, but the only thing is, this book has a very bad ending and never had a sequel to it which is very odd for Stine to do.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Silent Night
Review: Silent Night is on of R.L. Stine's best! It was a scary mystery about certain events that take place. When you find out about who did what, you are very surprised. I recommend you read this book.

Summary: To help you decide wether you should read it or not...
Review: The Best Friend is a creepy book about a girl named Becka whose new neighbor claims she and Becka are and always have been best friends. Slowly, Honey starts to drive Becka mad. She steals Becka's things and claims Becka gave them to her, wears Becka's clothes, even cuts her hair exactly like Becka's, and more horrible things! Then, when Becka lashes out at Honey and tries to cut her out of her life, th gruesome accidents begin. One by one, th epeople closest to Becka are being murdered. Is it Honey being jealous? Someone else? In the book it's obvious but the real shocker is the last page. I personally didn't like the ending, but that's why there's a sequel! It's worth reading, to answer your question.

Summary: This Book was Good!!
Review: The Best Friend is one of my fav R.L. Stine books. Becka is kinda wierd, but if someone like Honey was copying me and everyway i would freak. But Becka was way too nice to Honey. I would have been much more harsh. The ending was kinda good, but not to good. I am in the process of reading The Best Friend 2, and i cant wait to see what happens.

I TOTALLY RECOMMENED THIS ONE!

Summary: Worst. Book. Ever.
Review: The Best Friend is quite possible the worst book I have ever read. Becka and Honey are absolutely dull characters with no substance to them whatsoever. The book itself has no substance - it is mainly based around what characters say rather than do, feel, or hear, which reminds me of stories I myself wrote in Grade 2 - and I'm not even kidding. Many points with no relation to each other are given, and it tries to make the characters act like teenagers actually act but fails miserably. Sorry R.L, but people really don't talk to themselves, nor scream "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" continuously while running from a room. Anyone who has said this book is any good at all needs to read something half decent - read something by Stephen King. He can actually write a story worth reading. And those who said the ending was "disturbing" - you obviously have never watched a movie rated higher than PG-13.

Nice try R.L. Get some writing talent and maybe I'll read another book of yours.

Summary: THE BEST FRIEND
Review: THE BOOK IS ABOUT A GIRL NAMED HONEY.I LIKE THIS BOOK BECAUSE ITS ABOUT SOMEONE WHO MURDERS ALL HONEY'S FRIENDS BECAUSE THE GIRL IS JEALOUS OF THE FRIENDS THE GIRL HAS. SO THEN HONEY IS SUSPECTING AND SHE ASKS THE GIRL,WHO'S NAME IS ASHLEY.ASHLEY SAYS NO THAT SHE DIDNT KILL ALL OF HER FRIENDS.I ALSO LIKE IT BECAUSE ITS VERY INTERESTING AND CREEPY.

Summary: on the edge of your seat
Review: The New Year's Party is a real thriller! I really got into the book! Each chapter left me wondering what would happen next. I think that it's one of R.L. Stine's best! -Kat-
