Rating: Summary: The Girlfriend-Casey Review: "The Girlfriend" was an exciting thiller. I liked the book because R.L. Stine made the characters 'real life'. The climax was very descriptive and you could picture the setting. In my opinion, the most exciting part of the book was when Scotty found Shannon on the sidewalk with a flat bike tire and then when he asked her to go to the movies and then to Rainer Point where they kissed. The conflict and characters were the most vivid story elements. The conflict was described in great details and Stine use great events to help support the conflict. Like when Shannon sat Scotty's car on fire for hurting her. The characters were each described individually, which made them seem life-like. He didn't really say what the person was like, what the characters said and did made them come alive. Stine made the characters seem like a kid in your school, or like one of your friends.Such as Scotty, he made him seem as a charming football player and Shannon as'the bad girl' type.

Rating: Summary: Girlfriend from hell Review: I didn't think there was much mystry to this book, yet for some reason I couldn't put it down. Maybe because of the , crazy, psychotic Shannon, or maybe because I just wanted to see Lora die, she was such a head wrecker. I'm not going to say if she dies or not, that will only ruin the book. Overall, there is hardly any "scream scenes" but it is a good read, but I expected better
Rating: Summary: Good Book! Review: I read the other reviews the book was, interesting to me the ending was ok, Shannon was a good charter she loved Scotty to DEATH I wouldn't like a girlfriend like that I would like a girlfriend that cares a lot but not a girl who loves me, to death it'd make me feel ok I guess well, I liked this I don't understand why other people hated it, there was a good, plot enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Read it for school Review: I read this book for summer reading.
It is not one of R.L. Stine's best, but it is decent. The ending is sorta retarted and there is really no mystery in the book.
You may E-Mail me with your thoughts on this book.
Rating: Summary: The best book Review: Read this book! It is the best! If you liked this book read the boyfriend!
Rating: Summary: suspense at its finest Review: Scotty Singleton is living the dream life. The highschool senior stud has a more than steady girlfriend, a nice car, the no. 1 spot on the football team and an acceptance to Princeton University. He absolutely loves hsi grilfriend Lora and even can stand her stuck up family. But one Friday, Lora goes to Europe with her family and is not there to cheer Scottty on. Not going to the regular school dance, Scotty decides to just go home and watch a video. He sees a girl sitting next to his car with a bike who claims to have a flat tire. He offers her a ride, and out of the blue in the car, her asks her to go out to eat with him. The two have a good time, and then out of teh blue again, asks her out for the next night. After the next day, thinking he has had a fun fling, Scotty settles down and deciedes to wait for Lora. But his new friend, Shannon isn't ready to let him go, and she'll stop at nothing for him to be hers and hers alone. No matter what the cost. THE GIRLFRIEND is one of those books that has everything: football, drama, love deception, and enough delicious suspense that I gobbled it in one long, delicious gulp. Stines clever yarn creates for us a protagonist. Scotty is skillfully developed and utterly convincing and believable. This is a thriller that actually thrills, and will give you chill and make you wonder who you choose to grow close to in high school.
Rating: Summary: Can She Ever Go Away? Review: Scotty's long-time, really close girlfriend, Lora, goes away for the weekend. While she's gone, Scotty meets a short, beautiful red head named Shannon. Shannon and Scotty go on one date, just one! After that, Shannon wouldn't leave Scotty alone. She would do ANYTHING to get Scotty to leave Lora for her. Like R. L. Stine put it...Lora just loves Scotty to DEATH!
Rating: Summary: WHAT AN EVIL GIRL! Review: The Girlfriend is a fast-paced story about a girl who will do anything to get the love of her life-ANYTHING! Scotty is the perfect student and has the perfect rich girlfriend. When she goes to Europe on a one-week vacation he meets a girl and takes advantage of the moment. What his girlfriend don't know won't hurt right? The story is fun to read and it's creepy all the way. R.L. Stine gives us to read about an evil girl who would die for the boy of her dreams! A great book!
Rating: Summary: It's Good But Not All That! Review: The Girlfriend wasn't all that good but it is kinda. It's about a boy name Scotty. His girlfriend went on a 1 - week vacation. Then why she was gone, he met a gyrl and took her out to lunch and then she went out of control when he tried to breakup with her. It's good but not all that. That's why I mild gave it 4 stars.
