Summary: One of the best -and most unusual-books I've ever read!
Review: ew...... did it have to have so much .......detail..except for all those parts(those of you who have read it, know wht i;m talking about) the book was pretty ok. It wasn't as good as most of RTC's books though.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Blood Roots
Review: I have read Blood Roots several times since it originally came out and even had it autographed by RTC. I admit it is different from her usual writing, but you have to remember it is written on an adult level. I couldn't put it down the first time I read it, and I still can't even though I know what happens. An Awesome book by a wonderful lady.

Summary: One of the best -and most unusual-books I've ever read!
Review: I loved this book. It has so many wonderful layers of suspense, romance, and history. The character of Olivia is one of my favorites in RTC's books. The end is a shocker, but I loved it!

Summary: Unknown to Olivia, her life was already planned
Review: I stumbled upon this book when it first came out, and although my reading habits are somewhat eclectic, I keep on coming back to read this one over and over again. It's what I like to call a southern suspense, although the spine reads horror. All the characters are richly portrayed, with a plot that will keeps you guessing till the end. To sum it up, Olivia finds a letter from her grandmother after her mother dies. Intrigued by her blood roots, she travels to Deveraux House and to her grandmother. She keeps her identity secret, though, and agrees to work as a hired hand along with Skyler, Jesse, Yoly, Mathilde, and Helen. Immediately she senses something not right, but stays, believing it her right to be in her ancestral home, and is drawn into a world of dark secrets which her mother originally fled from. Note* this book shouldn't be read by anyone below the age of 17 or who is immature.

Summary: Back Again
Review: It is now 2003 and the last time I wrote a review for this book was in 1998. I first read this book in my 8th grade year and I am now a Senior getting ready to graduate. About a week ago I ordered this book ... I've checked all libraries close to me, and books stores in many cities. The fact that I'm still dying to read this book over and over again shows how great it is. I've been reading since I can remember and I always good taste. This is an excellent book and everyone should take the chance to read it. Happy Reading.

Summary: Best book out there...
Review: RTC's book "Blood Roots" was the best book I've ever read in my life so far. I read it over and over again after I read it the first time. I had checked it out through my school library many times because I liked the feelings I got from the book. That was the first book of her's that I had read and I fell in love with it. I read it for the first time four years ago and I still remember the feelings I felt from reading it. Since then, I hadn't seen it anywhere but here...so I bought it!

Summary: Worst Book- nowhere near her usual talent
Review: This was one of the most godawful books I have ever read. I was so disapointed because I love Cusick, and this was nowhere near her usual standard. The romantic tensions weren't exciting at all. For once, I couldn't care less if I finished the book. And I'm certainly not a prude, but the sexual activities in this book were disturbing to say the least. I won't spoil it for those who want to read it, but the sexual situations in this book were nauseating and disturbing (and I read V.C. Andrews).
