Summary: One of his best ever!
Review: This was one of the best of King, and I've read them all. I bought the complete book and read it all at once. He had slipped in several prior books, but this one clearly evidenced his ability to mesmerize without the flash and dash of absolute horror.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Simply, the best of the Stephen King's titles.
Review: This is a great history, maybe a candidate for a movie, because the narrative is very impressive and have the best ending that I read in a book of suspense.

I have only two words: READ IT!!!!!!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: What a mind holding novel...I never put it down
Review: When I first saw this book my dad was reading it...and I was sooo anxious to read it (being stepehn king) that I took it with out his permission up to QLD with me. It grabs you right from the beginning and it never let's you put it down. I'm now doing an english essay on the book and I'm up to the part where I have to rewrite the plot summary...but where do you start? HOw many plot's are there in this book.... Should I write about the bad death of eduard delacroix or the night journey to wraden mooore's house....or the healing hands of John Coffey. I have to say that Stephen King is a LEGEND and I love his works dearly! Well done!! From a huge fan Bonnie

Summary: One of his best
Review: I read this book when it was being published in the individual packets, and I think you get a little more out of the story by reading it that way. I could not wait for each of the next installments to come. This is one of his best books, filled with great characters and lots of emotion. I would highly recommend it to anyone, King fan or not.

Summary: Awesome
Review: What a great book...it was so gripping I too couldnt put it down until I had finished them all! I cried my eyes out it was so emotionally overwhelming, but I loved it. Go out and read it, now!

Summary: He shot in the dark........ and hit it !
Review: Outstanding!!!! King says in the preface he found this system of little books interesting, and that he would literally shoot in the dark, and in my opinion (and almost everyone's), he hit it! This way, the reading doesn't get tiring and you get more interested (I would say... desperat!!) in the story because you don't have the next chapters!!! The story, in other hand, is very well conducted. You will love the mouse!

A work of art!!!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: I couldn't believe he could write like this either!
Review: Not King's best, but soooo close! I started reading this book and couldn't put it down. Literally! It took me two days, but when i finally did it, I bawled my eyes out because I know he could have crammed a seventh book in there. The novel is not only terrifying but emotional as hell. Tears streamed my eyes, and they'll stream yours too! King's most realistic book since Dolores Claborne. If you haven't yet, read the most emotionally satisfying book written: the Green Mile.

Summary: The King is Back! It's good to be the King!
Review: I used to be a die-hard King fan but recently (over the past 7-8yrs or so) I thought his books were becoming predictable and banal. I tried to read the Regulators and when I realized what was the cause of the trouble I could predict the rest of the book. THE GREEN MILE on the other hand, puts Stephen King back on track. I thought the characters were well developed, the plot was intricate, and the story was innovative. You were able to empathize with the characters; hate some (The Kid) and love others (the mouse). You are surprized and moved when you understand that Coffee was not as two dimensional as you're initially led to believe. All in all, a great read. Highly recommended. And this comes from a very tough critic. Well done! 9.5!

Summary: The Green Mile is long, deep, and satisfying
Review: Touching and beautiful writing. It's the only King book a cried during. A wonderful, compelling and funny story. You get addicted to the characters and can't let go! I was so disappointed after I finished the series. But the last line of the last book was worth it, one of Stephen King's greatest! I want so much to write it but don't want to give it away. Can't wait for the movie except if they cast Tom Hanks as Paul--please, I may throw up (James Caan might make a good Paul though, he was great playing that other King "Paul"). And for the 12-year-old from Canada who wrote about some guy's face melting off by a laundry machine, what are you talking about? Are you sure this is the same book? What ever.

Summary: WALK "THE GREEN MILE" TO ABSOLUTE INSANITY!!!
Review: Hidden behind the face of a dark and grim inmate lies the truth that will shatter the sanity of mankind. Is he the one who saves or is he the one who condemns? This terrifying drama creates a world of the condemned that will prove to be the salvation of men. The final walk to the Green Mile will dwell within the mind long after the book is read...
