Summary: FANTASTIC!
Review: The title pretty much describes this book. I just finished reading the book two minutes ago after reading non-stop all day. HIGHLY Recommened.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Witches, and Witch Haters
Review: The book, Gallows Hill, had a lot of excitement. When I was reading it, I did not put the book down, and I kept on wanting to turn the page so I know what will happen next. Although I enjoyed this book, I thought the ending was a little too much, and kind of silly. I did not like how this one big event happend (when they were almost going to hang Sarah and burn her cat)and then her parents came and it automatically endend. It was so much at one point and then it dropped. Also, the book kept changing its main topic: first it was about the paperweight and phycics, then witches, then reincarnation. To sum it up, I enjoyed the book, I like reading books from this author, and I recommend it.

Summary: Gallows Hill is my favorite book ever.
Review: I have owned this book before and loved it so much I gave it away to a friend who equally loved it as much as I did. I truley loved this book. Even as I reread it now, today, I get chills and it is as if I'm looking through Sarah's eyes. This book was beautifully painted and written! I love it. I suggest it to anyone who loves a good page turner and stories tied in with magic, the supernatural, and when Christians go bad. P.S. Im not 13 im 15 lol.

Summary: Paranormal Mania
Review: This book could have been so much better than it turned out being. I was not impressed at all with the reincarnation stuffed down the reader's throat by Ms. Duncan. I wasn't pleased with the portrayals of the Christians as evil-minded bigots, hating anyone who's different or doesn't fit in with their views of the universe.

I did like the relationship between Sarah and the ugly duckling boy. Ms. Duncan is a better writer than this!

Summary: I Was On the Edge of My Seat the Whole Time!
Review: The minute I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down! It was SO riveting!! I couldn't bear to put it down (even when I was tired!)! It took me just 3 days which is kinda long since I did say I couldn't put it down. But I absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend it to everyone!!! And when you read it, you'll see why I couldn't put it down. It's a very new-age like book mixed with historical events. You'll enjoy it!

Summary: Witch, or not?
Review: A Review by Cody
A young girl, Sarah Zoltanne just moved to the small town of Pine Crest. One of the most popular boy at the High-School thought she would be the right person to play a fortune-teller. At first Sarah didn't feel that she wanted to be the fortune-teller because she didn't know anything about anyone. Until Sarah found out that she would wear a headphone underneath her clothes, to give the effect of supernatural powers. Sarah looks into the crystal ball and starts to see things that she couldn't know. Everything is fine until it starts to come true.

This story really appealed to me, because not to long before I started this book I watched The Blair Witch. I have always been interested in witch craft, not doing it but hearing about all of the stories and tales about it. It is a very serious, scary, but at times funny. For example when they were about to hang Sarah it was scary and serious. This book was easy, and enjoyable to read. It wasn't hard to follow, but at times it got confusing. It was just the right length, and not to short. The words weren't too big but some of the words were too elementary.

I would recommend this book to kids from the age group of 6th grade to 9th grade, and to people who are interested in witches. Its easy, and fun to read, but has several hard parts to follow.

Summary: Gallows Hill
Review: This story ws very interesting although it was long. It's about a girl named Sarah. She can see people's secrets and the future and past. When she moves to a new school, she fits in really fast.

One day, she meets Eric Garrett and he noticed her also. He then asked her if she wanted to become the fortune teller for the Halloween Carnival they are having at their school. He asked her that because she sort of looked like a gypsy. She is a huge success.

Later on in the story, she starts seeing a lot of visions and even has some at night when she's sleeping although those are of the past. She sees people getting condemned for being witches or practicing witch craft, the Salem Witch Trials.

She has a lot of friends and they all live in the city of Pine Crest. They still believe in witches there and if they think that Sarah is a witch, she's going to suffer.

Review: This book compliments the extreme suspense and style that Lois Duncan posseses. This book is so good that you almost feel like you get sucked in it. You will never be able to put it down until the end. The ending was what really grabbed my attention because it had so much action, emotion, horror, suspense, and history.
