Rating: Summary: Beautifully Inspiring Review: Rotterham Hospice in Washington State is a stately seaside mansion that once belonged to an oil tycoon. Rotterham Hospice is for teens suffering from terminal illnesses. Ilonka, Anya, Kevin, Spencer and Sandra form The Midnight Club a club. They meet in the library and tell scary stories, as a way to briefly escape their tragic reality. During one meeting, the teens make a pact that the first one to die has to make contact with the others. Ilonka knew Kevin in a past life and her stories revolve around her memories of that life. She loves Kevin but he has a girlfriend named Kathy, a cheerleader in perfect health who visits him at the hospice. One day Ilonka tells Kathy the truth about Kevin's illness namely that he won't ever be coming home. It breaks them apart but Kevin isn't angry with her for doing it and discloses that he remembers those lives in her stories. Anya dies and her personal belongings disappear like in a story Ilonka told about her past life in India, could it be a sign? The Midnight Club is both tragic and romantic with an air of mystery and suspense. The ending is a real tearjerker!! Highly recommended!
