Summary: Title deceiving
Review: The book would be better titled HOMOerotic stories. Every short story focuses on sex with a vampire and all but one are graphic same sex couplings. I don't really have a problem with that except that it is not my bag and I felt tricked that I bought a gay sex book. I actually bought the book for my wife who likes vampire stories, I read it because I read everything that comes into the house. She couldn't finish it and I had to force myself. It would have helped if the writing was less amateurish.

Summary: Many very good stories, a couple poor ones
Review: These are tales of twists of fate, and are chock full of Vampiriffic excitement and intensity. They are tales that will touch your heart, make you angry, make you laugh and make you cry. "Cherished Blood" is everything a collection of stories should be...and so much more!Even though some stories are more professionally written than others, and a couple are pretty poor, even the worst of the lot is a hundred times better than say, "D/s" by Gary S. Kadet.

Review: This is the third of four collections of vampire erotica put out by Circlet Press. There are all pairings here and the immortal isn't always the one with the power. Some pieces are better than others but that is more a matter of taste and not a statement of the quality of writing. Cecilia Tan, the editor, can be picky with this third book and so the quality is overall very high. Of course, I'm a bit biased because I like vampires, especially when they are powerful women or involved with powerful women are there are a few of those here.
