I have friends that would probably say the same thing . I gave this book four stars because I thought this was a great book for how Mary .D. Hahn described the people. Summary: really good and pretty creepy too
Review: I first read this book when I was 10 years old and I remember not being able to put it down. It was really well-written and suspensful. It IS pretty scary for the age it's meant for, so keep this in mind if you're buying it for a child. My mom bought it for me and I was freaked out by the picture on the cover! Helen is a character you'll remember for a long itme.

Review: This is my favorite book. I have read it at least seven times since the first time I read it. Even though I know how this book will end, I always get a little spooked. The first time I read it, it only took me an hour because I could not put it down. This is the best ghost story I've ever read, and I reccomend it to anyone who loves really scary books.

Review: This is the best book that Mary Downing Hahn has written. I read this book for the first time back in fith grade, but now in seventh grade, I still can't help reading it again. This book has an excellent plot and a very creative twist. This is the kind of book you can't put down!:)

Review: Mickel and his sister molly 's mom married a guy named Dane.And his daughter Hether don 't get along with mickel and molly.They had to move to an old church and there was a graveyard,in the back of there house and it creeped molly out because they didnt believe thier was not a ghost that hether brought back from the dead at first.But at the end they find out the truth.i liked this book because you never knew what was going to happen.Andthats why i couldnt put the bookdown.They never belive hether but they finally foundout at the end!

Review: It's a ghost story about a girl who has to learn to get along with her step sister (Helen). Helen finds a ghost friend named Heather in a cematary by their house. Helen often loses her temper but acts like an angel around their parents. It's a great story for anyone who likes ghosts. It has a thrilling surprise ending!

Review: When I was in maybe fourth grade I read this book, I was so scared. It was, and still is, one of the best books I have ever read. I must have checked it out of the library four times to read it over and over. I'm now a fresman in high school and I still compare other horror books to this one.
