Review: The novel "Wait Till Helen Comes" is a fantastic book. Mary Downing Hahn uses great description of how each of her characters felt in different situations. For example, when Molly moved to Howell she hade no idea that a graveyard was located in back of her house.(a church) She ran home trembling and full of fear.
This book is about a little girl named Heather and how she allies herself with a rather spooky friend. Now her step sister, Molly, can't believe it and follows her everyehere. If you love scary stories to chill your bones then this is the book for you!

Review: "Wait till Helen Comes" is a really good book. It has adventure, friendship, ghosts and most of all suspense. It is about two kids (Molly and Micheal) and their mom, and her husband (Dave)and his daughter Heather. Then one day they move to the country. Molly and Micheal don't like it there because they don't live near town. Also Molly dosen't like it because there is a graveyard in the backyard. Then one day Heather makes a friend with a ghost. Her name is Helen, but Helen is a bad ghost and tries to drawn Heather in the pond. Molly is the only person that saw Helen besides Heather. It is up to Molly to save Heather. If I could I would tell you the rest of the story,but you are going to have to find out for yourself.

Review: The book "Wait Till Helen Comes," written by Mary Downing Hahn is a descriptive and adventures piece of writing. I think the story had an interesting theme that can easily draw a good reader into the book. The story's plot is about an artistic mother who marries a pottery maker named Dave. Dave has one daughter, Heather who lost her mother in a mysterious fire. Molly and Michael are the children of jean (the wife). They lived in Baltimore before the kids and Jean moved with Dave and Heather to Hollwell. While they lived in Hollwell many adventures accured with the family. I would recommend this book to a good reader who understands all the vocabulary. Mabye that reader will like this book just as much as I did.

Review: The book ''Wait till Hellen Comes'' is a really interesting book. It has different surprises that you will like. A lady named Jean marries a guy named Dave, and they move to a church. Dave has a daughter named Heather. Heather is a spoiled brat, and she always gets her way. Jean also has a daughter named Molly and a son named Michael. Heather finds a graveyard. In the graveyard under a tree there is a tombstone with the initials H.E.H. These are the same initials as Heather's. Heather allied with a ghost named Helen. Heather didn't like Molly or Michael, so Helen trashed Michael, Jean, and Molly's rooms. I would recommend this book to any one who likes ghosts stories.

Review: Wow! I just finished reading "Wait Till Helen Comes" by Mary Downing Hahn. It was about a girl and her dad, a mom and one girl and one boy. Their names are Molly, Micheal and Heather. Heather was very bratty to her step-sister and step-brother. Heather meets an imaginary friend named Helen, at least Jean and Dave thought. This book was very good. I think anyone in 6th -8th grade will enjoy the book as much as I did.

Whenever we finished a chapter I really wanted to know what happened next. When we finished I was really sad, because It was such a good book. I would definitely recommend this book for someone. Review: Mary Downing Hahn's book "Wait Till Hellen Comes" was an exciting book. It will keep you guessing to the very end. Michael, and Molly are against Heather, their younger sister. Dave and Jean (the parents) got married and moved away from Baltimore to Hollowell. They now live in a church that has an old gravyard in the backyard. One day when they were in the gravyard they find a tombstone that was face down in the grass and weeds behind a tree. The initals on the tombstone were the same as Heather, H.E.H. I recommend this book to people who like frightening books.

Review: "Wait Till Helen Comes" is a good book. It is scary and not scary in one big story. We had to read it as a class and at some parts I was almost out of my seat. Like when Molly was spying on Heather and she almost .....
Also Heather has a keen personality which lets her sneak up on people. It's like she's a little cat! I would recommend this book to people who like to enjoy themselves when they read.

Review: I recommend this book because it uses great description and is very exciting. It is about 2 parents who get married. The child of the dad doesn't like the mothers childen and always gets in trouble.
Then one day they moved from Baltimore to 5 miles from Hollowell in the middle of nowhere. They are right next to a graveyard. Then Heather says she finds a friend from the graveyard and the family thinks she's imagining things until trouble starts. Heather thinks she's friends with her but she's wrong. At the end Heather begins together with Molly. I think this is a great book for 4 grade and up.
