Heather's mom died in a freak fire accident near where they move.
After the move Heather explores her new ground and wanders behind the old church she finds an old graveyard. One particular tombstone caught her eye. It read H.E.H., Heather bonds with the ghost Helen. Is Helen her mom or just another mysterious ghost?
This ghost story is the best of its kind. I say it's for the ages of 9 to 12. This book is one of the best I hope you like it too.

Do you believe in ghost? Well if you don't than you will have a whole different look on things after you read wait till Helen comes. This book is based on a true ghost story and the way this story is told will thrill you and will keep you thinking about it for hours.
Heather had become Michael and Molly's sister after their mom married her dad. Heather is usually a brat to Michael and Molly and hardly has any friends. Until they move to a new place and Heather finds a new friend out in the graveyard. She has been dead for about a hundred years and her name is Helen. Her ghost is still around and she tries to get kids to go in a pond to drown. Molly is scared to death but for heather.
I believe that wait till Helen comes is one of the best books I've ever read in my life. This book has a really good plot and that is one thing that makes this book so great. Also this book really makes you think about real live situations. Also the thrill of this book makes the book a whole lot better.
The characters in Wait till Helen comes remind me of real live people. The reason why I think this is because Molly in this book finds everything very scary just like one of my friends. Heather thinks everything very interesting, which reminds me of another one of my friends.
Wait till Helen comes would be great for those who likes thrilling ghost stories or mystery. I don't think teenagers would really like this book probably people 9 through 13 would find this book very interesting. Also this book would be great for both genders and I think they should read it.
So like I said before do you believe in ghost? You will have a totally different opinion after you read this book. That is if you get too.

Summary: I never pictured Heather having a mullet...
Review: I first read this book when I was 10 and in the 5th grade.

Ok so I lied, I didn't read it, my teacher read it to me.

But I still liked it. Its an interesting (though somewhat predictable) book. I was at the library today and found a copy and checked it out and read it again. I always loved this book, and has been one of my favorite all time books. Very good, easy to read, kind of scary, but not too scary. I wish they had made this into a movie though. One thing caught my eye, I never pictured Heather (the girl who befriends Helen) as having a mullet like she does on this cover. Oh well.

Review: This is a great story about a family that moves next to a graveyard. Molly and Michael have a stepsister named Heather who is a whiny little brat and always gets her way. Molly and Michael's mom is married to Dave, Heather's dad. And Helen, the ghost, starts causing some trouble. At the end, the secrets come out and it becomes very spooky!
