Summary: A captivating thriller for young readers
Review: This is a great book for reluctant readers! It draws the reader in and doesn't let them go until the last page. A perfect read aloud book for upper elementary teachers. Warning: It is NOT for the faint of heart!

Summary: If you love ghost stories/mysteries you'll love this book!!
Review: You absolutly have to read Wait til Helen Comes!!! It is such a spine chiller! I got the book 3 years ago, when I was 9. I am now 12 and I have read Wait Til Helen Comes about 100 times,I'm serious, and every time I read it,even today, it sends chills up and down my spine. I love reading,so,from an expert who owns about 300 fiction books(about 100 ghost stories and 50 mysteries) and 50 reference books, I highly suggest this book which is why I gave it a #10!!

Summary: Wait Till Helen Comes
Review: I loved this book. It is the best book I have ever read. I like Heather. I don't know why though. I liked this book so much that I bought it. I would read this book over and over if I could, but I am in the 5 grade and we have something called Acelarated Read(which means you can only read in a sertain level that your teacher gives you). At my school there isn't many good books in my level. Wait Till Helen Comes is one of the best books at my school. I am going to read this book as many times as I can during the summer and also in the 6th grade(if there isn't A.R. there). I suggest reading that book again, as many times as you can. My name is Allison Mayfield and I am 11 years old.

Now I recomend it to everyone... even people that are my age I enjoyed it so much there is no one I would withhold my knowledge of this book from

Summary: Wait Till Helen Comes is the best book I've read.
Review: Wait Till Helen Comes is a very good book about a girl trying to accept her little spoiled step-sister who "makes friends" with Helen a ghost that went through the same thing that the little sister did, the death of a parent. The book was a little slow at first but after a while you really get into it and worry about the little girl. This book has a very good ending and I suggest that everybody read it. I read it in 6th grade and I think that it is okay for anybody over 5th grade to read. THIS IS A GREAT BOOK! Katie grade

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: decent, but could be a bit tighter
Review: This had some suspenseful parts, but over all, it wasn't
as scary as I had hoped. The idea behind it was good, but
I feel the the stepfather Dave was a bit too 1 dimensional
and obtuse among other things. Also, some bits were a little confusing with all the running back and forth between the lake, Harper House, etc.

I would recommend Betty Ren Wright's Dollhouse Murders
over WTHC. It's a lot more suspenseful and worth rereading,
unlike this.
