Summary: this book is great
Review: The New Year's Party was a pretty good book. I gave it four stars because I've read better R.L. Stine books. Don't get me wrong it did keep me on the edge of my seat at times. You could tell when the pranks started to get old because they did it so often you knew it would be them. I am glad that Reenie's boyfriend was there to pull her out of the water when the ice cracked on Fear Lake. She could have died, but it was "just a joke." I do recommend this book to people who want a mystery and are into scary books.

Summary: Incredible!
Review: The New Year's Party was awesome. It starts out in 1965, at a New Year's Party a few seconds after mindnight, when Beth is trying to calm down Jeremy, a boy who is kind of wimpy and has just been the victim of a cruel prank. Jeremy is so angry after the prank is revealed, he leaves the party and gets into his car. Beth comes along with him, and Jeremy begins to drive along the icy roads. Jeremy loses control of his car, and drives over someone. After that, they skid into a snowbank, headfirst. Amazingly, both Beth and Jeremy are alive, without a scratch. Jeremy begs for them to go back and see the boy they ran over, but Beth refuses to believe that they really did run over anyone, so they don't. I'm not going to tell anymore of the plot, but make sure you read the beginning thoroughly. When the you reach the end of the book, the conclusion will make no sense unless you understand the beginning.

Review: This book is definitly one for anyone who likes to be held in suspence. No one could ever guess the ending. This is a five star, two thumbs up, and all around great book.

Review: This book was one of the best of R.L. Stine's books.The book kept on switching from 1965 to the present time and then back. That part was cool by it's self there, But the whole story was fantastic. Trust me. Also if you want to read another fantastic book buy Broken Hearts. You dont want me to go off on that one. R.l Stine I give mad props to you!!!!

Review: This book was probably ONE of my favorite Fear Street books. I love Fear Street books and I especially love The New Years Party. So my suggestion to everybody who hasn't read it, go and buy it!
