I devour everything Mr. Koontz writes because he is a highly intelligent and imaginative author, and this is my FAVORITE. I also love happy endings and he provides that more often than not. Following the threads of this woman's life and the time traveller's delimna as he interferes for her benefit is a wonderful love story

Review: Lightnig was a major disappointment. This is the first Koontz book I've read and I'm not impressed. The first 250 pages are so needlessly wordy I felt like he must get paid by the word. The last 100 pages were an O.K. adventure saga. There is nothing new about time travel or the possibilities or problems that it presents. The story about Laura is very simple and could have been told in half the space. If you want sci-fi try Herbert or Asimov. They combine the sci-fi with great story telling.

Review: Lightning is truely one of my all-time favorites!! I am a big fan of Dean Koontz. All my life I hated to read, nothing interested me. One day my husband handed me a Dean Koontz book. I thought to myself there is no way I can sit down and read this. Well, here I am today, still reading his books. Lightening was such a good book I had to read it again. I certanly recommend it!!

Review: Its true. This IS truly one darn good book! As a gloriously uneducated (I blame the skools) reader, I was absolutely amazed at the amount of detail and effort Koontz put in this book (just to make a buck none-the-less). It is one amazing read between the covers (little smut humor) that is well worth ones time. Take my word for it (and you would be the first)
