Rating: Summary: BETTER THAN THE FIRST TWO!!! Review: Christopher Pike has done it again. His Remember Me series is great. The first and second book get you hooked and the third reels you in with a great ending. You can actually feel like you're the character. This story draws your attention as does all the books of Christopher Pike. It was great!!!
Rating: Summary: not as great as i thought Review: Ever since I found out the Remember Me was a trilogy i searched evrywhere for the books. I finally found the third one at a thrift store and bought it cuz i was so eager to find out what happened to Shari. When i read it I was immediatly caught up in evrything. But as soon as she started writing "the starlight crystal" i started to get bored cuz i HATE sci-fi books. so i forced myself to read the sci-fi parts.strike one against Christopher Pike. Then Peter and whol dicussion on religion and the yogi bored me too cuz I really didnt care about that, i just wanted Peter to walk again. strike two. Then the ending! I wanted to scream at Christopher Pike for having Shari die and become separated from Peter when the whole reason he came back to earth was to be with her. I wished the he had made Shari go see a neurologist, i mean she was rich and she had the money. so the third installment of Remember Me was okay not one of Christopher Pike's greatest.
Rating: Summary: Awesome entry to series Review: Five years have passed since Shari Cooper returned to earth in Jean's body. She is a famous author, whose novels are on their way to becoming major movies--except 'Remember Me'. Many people say this is the weakest book in the trilogy. But I think it is the strongest. More mature than the first two, and rightfully so since most of the readers read the original book five years before. Most of the original characters are back. I do not think any of the other characters would have worked. While this was an unnecessary trilogy, the books are excellent with character and plot development. Besides the characters in THE SEASON OF PASSAGE, THE MIDNIGHT CLUB, and THE LAST VAMPIRE series, Shari Cooper rates as a high favorite among Pike fans. It was a wise choice to use her again. I think one of the main reasons others have problems with this book is that it is more spiritual and meditative than 1 and 2. But 3 fits perfectly with the concepts presented in 2, which I found interesting for its twist on reincarnation.
Rating: Summary: It was a good book, I guess Review: I am a big fan of Christopher Pike, afterall I have read a lot of his books (enough to predict almost everything that is going to happen), but I have to say this was not one of his better books. I have to say though the climax of this book was great! It was so suspeseful and sad at the same time. Haven't seen such a great climax from Christopher Pike since Final Friends: The Graduation. This book was overall good except for the fact that Peter can finally walk and Shari dies! The other thing I found extremely boring was the "Starlight Crystal." Like said before I almost just skipped this part. I mean this didn't have any point at all in this book. Pike did a great Job with the characters in this series though! I guess you could say not his best work, but a good book to read.
Rating: Summary: So sad Review: I cried when Shari died (again!) but at least she saw her mother one last time before she did. Also, she got to do what she was sent back to do. But it kinda sucked that she was in a body that probably wouldn't have lasted long. Everyone should read the Remember Me series.
Rating: Summary: Last Story- very different from where first story began Review: I enjoyed this book very much. I always love reading more about characters that I've already come to know, however the trilogy ends in a much different place than you would expect it to. I personally am a big fan of Christopher Pike's science fiction novels so when REMEMBER ME 3 entered into this realm I didn't mind. If you loved the mystery of the first novel, but do not like Pike's sci-fi, you will most likely be dissapointed by the end of this series and I would recommend that you not read the two sequals. Of course it is still a wonderful mystery and you will always love all the characters set up for you by the first two novels. The only thing I think I would change, which I feel was done very nicely in the final Last Vampire book, would be to bring back or make mention of more of the people from the first book, Shari's original life.
Rating: Summary: not too bad Review: I loved the first and second books in the series but the last one was a real let down. Take my advice, read the first and second book but don't bother with the last one. It was disappointing how most of the characters from the first book weren't mentioned. However, I have to say there was a nice twist in the end.
Rating: Summary: Sorry Pike, but this was not one of your better endings. Review: I loved the whole trilogy up until the very end of this book. I was extremely disappointed! I felt sorry that her and Peter were seperated and that Jimmy lost her again. Especially when Peter only came back to be with Shari! But up until the end, it was great.
Rating: Summary: My opinion of the trilogy Review: I obviously liked the first book better because you are just getting to know the characters and the whole mystery thing was very interesting and full of suspense. But the 2nd one was a little boring I must say, nothing interesting did happen and the 3rd one is a little better. I was disappointed about the ending where Shari dies but if you have read the book carefully, there were clues that she was meant to die. How she often have headaches and the yogi said for her not to worry about it and her purpose of returning back to Earth was to write stories. I believe that Pike made Shari died in the end is because that she did what she couldn't do when she was alive. How she wanted to do something meaningful in life and now she did and it was time for her to go and move on. And she is separated from Jimmy and Peter again but only this time, they know that they will see her again and like what Shari said, death doesn't exist. She is very much alive, at least in the memories of those who once knew her.
Rating: Summary: I want a continuation! Review: I re-read the whole trilogy a few days ago. I cannot get over the fact that Shari had to die again so soon! I wish Pike would write another story of Shari and Peter one more time. I want them to get together soon, as physical or non-physical beings.
