Summary: Not your average Vampire story
Review: I enjoyed this story. I was impressed by the uniqueness of it. There were several things that were different about it compared to other Vampire storys-The way a Vampire is turned, the process they go through ,ect.
It was an interesting variation from the genre. It makes you want to keep reading.

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: not the usual vampire book
Review: If you like vampire romance the traditional way such as writers like Amanda Ashley, Feehan, etc, you will not like this book. It starts out with a good story and then goes downhill from there, I skipped about 29 pages just to get through to the end. The way a vampire is turned is gross and ridiculous (males have to have (...) intercourse with other male vampires while they are having (...)with a female vampire, and more) If you like vampire stories that have the male vampire falling in love and staying with his love and defending her, etc, DO NOT get this book. Its trash.

Summary: One of the Best Vampire Novels I Have Ever Read
Review: It drives U insane with lustful inquiries and steals the moment U R hidin in it. The imagination creates this wonderful masterpiece. It would make a great Movie, if only The movies were worthy of such seducing roles to make it as good as the book. I can't wait to read it again.

Summary: horrifically sexy read, enticing
Review: this book was full of sex, suspense, and action. It was also a very sad story, especially when maria loses her true love, gregor. Some parts of the story can be a bit boring, especially the part of rebecca's former lover eric chases her through Romania to find her. However, the plot still stays fast-paced and alive, so it's a good read, and makes up for it. It's also good that the author made this take place in Romania, the same place where bram stoker's dracula takes place. We get to learn a lot about the nazis and vampires beacuse it's in the same place where the greatest of horror stories and vampire stories ever became published, so it's good it took place in romania. I learned that the drinking of human blood isn't purely evil, but it's a way for the undead to express their love in allusion to sexuality. Lastly, the ending is a bit elusive and ambiguous, so you're left for yourself to decide what happens at the very end. An evasive ending can be more enticing and the mysteriousness can be illuminating. Overall, an excellant, darkly gruesome, wonderfully sexy read!
