Summary: Great Book!!
Review: The authors have written several other Buffy books, but this is their best one. As well as the best Buffy book in general. While it is longer than the others, it reads fast and before you know it you`re done with the book. If I only bought one Buffy book, this would be the one.

Summary: A true Buffy epic
Review: Chris Golden and Nancy Holder prove themselves once again to be true Buffy fans with this novel. While they can't advance the characters further than what we've seen on TV, they explore their thoughts and personalities in detail and with a depth not usually found in licensed fiction. This is a well-written full-fledged horror/adventure novel that just happens to feature characters who originated on TV instead of on the page. Freed from bugetary restraints, the authors craft a continent- (and in later books, apparently globe-) spanning adventure with a cast of hundreds, and monsters that would push the show's resources to the limits. Buffy fans should love this story. Can't wait to read the second part!

Summary: This book was unbelieveable!!
Review: This is one of the best Buffy books I've read so far. The story was gripping all the way through. I can't wait to read the next book after the cliffhanger this one ended on.

Summary: Chris and Nancy have done it again!
Review: Out of the Madhouse was brilliantly written!!! I've only seen Buffy through the third season, since last July, and read 5 of the books, but Chris Golden and Nancy Holder have outdone their selves with this trilogy.I'm still on the first of the two I bought,it's so wonderful! I read each page over and over, just absorbing the beautifully written words, the descriptions, the action.Pure Buffy fun! Chris and Nancy could even write a few episodes!

Summary: Overall, the book was well written and fast paced.
Review: To all those out there who are looking for a well written, horror/adventure story to pass the time, I would suggest the Buffy, The Vampire Slayer book trilogy; The Gatekeeper Trilogy. It was well written and fast paced. The author, veteran of this and many other fields has done a good job with this. You won't be disappointed!!

Summary: yay! and yay again! Infinite yayness!
Review: Yay! Okay, that said, I thought this book was very much of the good. Beyond that. I read it in like 2 days. The Willow and Oz-ness that is missing in other Buffy things is one of the many things that puts this book on a rank above others. Also, Angel is there, but he's not one of the dominant characters of the book, which is very good. People pay too much attention to him. The end is so great, and every Buffy fan out there should read it!

Summary: Great book
Review: This book was the best "Buffy" book I've read yet. It stayed true to the TV show, keeping the character's actions a lot like the characters of the show. All in all, I couldn't put it down. I'm reading the sequel and I can't wait to get the third one, but I have a feeling that the best one will have been the first one.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A work of art!
Review: Out of the Madhouse is a piece of perfection! The plot is absolutely wonderful, original and intriguing. Golden and Holder have outdone themselves! The characterisations are right on spot, especially Spike's in the last bit. Even the new characters introduced were great. This is far better than any of the other Buffy books, even Child of the Hunt. With the new range that the authors are reaching, one really sees the new potential in having a Buffy adult series. This one is definitely a classic! Let's hope the rest of the Trilogy will live up to the first book!
