Summary: Not the best....
Review: This isn't a terribly good book. By all means it was beter than Return to Chaos and Child of the Hunt, but toward the middle it got kind of boring. I mean, why cram eighty diffrent things in one book? All in all it was a good.

Summary: 5 stars, but i'd give a thousand more!
Review: (Gill) Okay, this book was scary and funny, like all of the Buffy books are, but it was so sad, too! I love reding about Buffy and Angel's relantionship. Although this didn't have to much of that, it was sad, espesially whan Angel was walk down the Ghost Road and saw all the people he'd killed over the years, including Jenny Calender. Also during that ritual thingie near the end. Blood tears. I gotta meet the guy who writes this.

***** I also hear there's a seires on the WB comeing out completly about Angel. I can't wait!*****

Summary: Any TRUE buffy fan can spot a gem when they see it.
Review: This has got to be one, if not the best BTVS book i have read....EVER! It is so wonderful how they break away from the show and open up new possibilities for everybody involved with Buffy, it is so much nicer than reading something that was already on tv. I wouldn't recomend this book for younger kids because it is long and sometimes a little confusing. But it is a must for all TRUE and dedicated buffy fans, OR anybody looking for a good book ***SArah Michelle Gellar is gonna be in Hannibal, the upcomming movie.

Summary: An Eye Opening Adventure for the Buffy fan
Review: Wow! Once I got into this book I could not put it down! The whole story behind the Gatekeeper and how he is responsible for keeping all the scary things in check was pretty amazing and kept me riveted. I had to end up cheering for the old Gatekeeper as he fought to keep his strength through all the battles so that Buffy and her friends could find his heir and so he could relinquish his powers and move on. Once I finished this book I was anxious for the next one and I am sure that you will be too.

Summary: Best Book I've Read In Ages
Review: Being a big fan of Buffy, when I heard about this book I decided it it was a must have. I was proved right. Golden and Holder have written a book that combines all the esentials of Buffy, monsters, love, despair to name but a few. I love this book because it not only provides a good plot, but also lets us see how the characters have developed. These books are all based after the second or third series. If you live outside the UK then you'll know that Buffy's mum has already found out she's the Slayer. This carries on from there. There are some new faces in these books, but as they go on a few familiar faces appear.

These books are so gripping, that you never want to put them down. I've just finished the second one Ghost Roads and I have to say it's better than the first. It continues to tell the story and also brings the characters together more than they have ever been. I can't wait to buy the third and find out if the Gatekeeper's son ever reaches Boston.

Summary: Out of the Madhouse- A Exciting Story!
Review: Buffy her her friends find out about a Gatekeeper, a wizard or sorcerer, that binds magic and sustains a Gatehouse for which demonish monsters are held not to ever be released out into the world...until now..Buffy, the slayer of vampires learns about the the Gatekeeper.Giles, her watcher, tells her that they must find him because he is dying and they need to find the new heir when he dies. They travel to the Gatehouse to find hundreds of doors that lead to different dimensions and worlds, containing monsters with incredible powers.- This Buffy book is well interpreted into words than pictures. But a flaw greatly pulls down a star, flashbacks, pages aof flashbacks take over the book and confuse the reader. Also the battling scenes in this book are short and weak! But otherwiese the Book is great! The plot is well though of and you won't know what'll come up next! A Great Book!

Summary: Truly Epic
Review: This book is essential reading. I couldn't put it down. I read the book from cover to cover in three days, it's that good. This is leagues ahead of the other novels, it is far more adult in both language, themes and the gore factor. I will admit it was hard going at times, but I am only 16 and I managed all right.

The most difficult part is remembering who all the new characters are. Also it's hard to adjust to the time in which it's set (you have to imagine you're half way through series three, but Faith and Wesley never turned up.)

It was nice to see some really good detail aswell, some wonderful characterisation and a bit of fighting too. It was told in an interesting in-depth fashion. I went straight into the second book, as I couldn't bear to wait after the cliffhanger.

Summary: Suprise Ending! Awesome!! Very Well Written!!
Review: Well, I just couldn't believe the ending, it suprised me since I watch the show! Can't wait to read the next books! A must Read!!!

Summary: WORST BTVS BOOK I HAVE EVER READ!
Review: Sorry! I hated this book it seemed to go on forever. It didn't do much with the charcters and added things that have never exsisted in the show. So save your money on this BUFFY book because it's a waste.

Summary: Pretty darn good, if I don't say so myself
Review: I liked this book alot (obviously) but sometimes it got...well...rather slow. It took me a while to grasp all of the different concepts and connect the added characters with each other. Plus I caught a bunch of all-too-obvious spelling and grammer mistakes. I'm not one to judge people on those things, but I just thought Chris and Nancy should know. But overall a really good book and I'm looking forward to the sequals.
