Summary: A good beginning
Review: The Harvest is a novelization of Welcome to the Hellmouth and the Harvest the first two episodes of the televsion series. It is well written. Even though I have seen the programs I enjoyed reading the book. I recommend it to new fans.

Summary: Eh...
Review: The Harvest is the same as the pilot episode of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". Thw writing is very simple and very repetitive. If you like "Buffy", it's ok.

Summary: Nothing New
Review: There is nothing different about this book and the opening episodes. The dialogue is almost word for word the same, and the action sequences are also the same. This was written well, but there's not much point reading it unless you A -- missed the episode B -- just like me, love Buffy

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Good story, not so good plot!!
Review: This book caught my attention after a couple of chapters, which is a pretty long time compaired to other buffy books I've read. The plot was a weak one and the story lacked the good ole' buffy combat.Overall, . . dissapionting

Summary: A great transcript of the original episode
Review: This book is great if you just got caught up on Buffy on tv and don't know what the storyline is about. Really well written.

Summary: This is such a good book I couldn't put the thing down!
Review: This book is such a good book but I think it's too much like the episode so you know whats going to happen. I have gave it three stars because of that. I recomend this book to someone who has not seen the episode so it isn't spoiled by knowing everything that happens.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Very true to the pilot episode of the tv show.
Review: This book is written for a young audience, but manages to capture the spirt and essence of the popular tv show. It is, however, nearly word for word with the script from the first two episodes.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great Start.
Review: This book was great because it filled in parts of the story we didn't see on the show. It was a fast moving story and I am glad I read it. I think it was kinda wierd reading about Angel and Buffy when they wern't...well you know. I really liked it.
