Rating: Summary: Twisted Window Review: I read the book the twisted window by lois ducan. i could not say i cared for the book in fact i don't see how anybody could. Sure it has myestry and suspance. but are incoherently jumbled so that you can't get in the book since there is little Character depth you cant feel for the people in the book, there was only one person i felt sorry for snd that was me for reading this "novel". the ending was pretty shoddy. the book surely taks fter the title, reading this book is like look in a twisted window.
Rating: Summary: My Favorite Book!!!! Review: I read this book for a book report. I needed one that I thought I could write a lot on, and wasn't very long. I gave myself two weeks to read it, because I am not a big reader. I read the whole book in one day. It was the best book! It was very suspenseful, and the plot is entertaining!! Their were many surprises. You thought you finally understood the story but another surprise happened! It was awesome! I loved it! I have read three of Lois Duncan's book now. All but one in one day. (Gift of Magic, but I read that on a vacation at the beach). I recommand Gift of Magic, Twisted Window, and Dont Look Behind You to everyone!! They are the best books!
Rating: Summary: The Twisted Window Review: I relly liked this book. It did start out slow but it then picked up and got intersting. I thought Brad was fine in the begining but then got a little weird at the end. At the end of the book it got to where I could not put it down, it was so good. There was a chapter that was confusing but i read on and found out what it was saying.I think the reason it is called twisted windo is everthing bad that happened to Brad, his mind changed it. So he saw something that happened got changed in his mind.
Rating: Summary: A Good Book Review: I thought The Twisted Window, by Lois Duncan, was a good book. It's about a girl, Tracy, who has been chosen by this guy named Brad to help him carry out his plans. At first it seems innocent enough, but as you get farther into the book you realize that Brad is not exactly what he seems to be. Tracy then realizes how deep she has gotten in. It is now her problem, too. She must fix what she has done. I like this book because it has some unexpected twists to the characters. Once I started reading I had to know what was going to happen, so I couldn't put it down. The story fits together well and is realistic. I found myself wondering what I would have done in Tracy's position. It wasn't the best book that I have ever read but it's definitely at the top of my list.

The boy walks over and introduces himself as Brad Johnson from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Soon enough, Tracy finds herself caught up in Brad's twisted plot to kidnap his sister from his evil stepfather, Gavin Brummer. Tracy not only finds herself disobeying her loving aunt and uncle, who have cared for her ever since her mother, an actress, was stabbed, but she also ends up on a crazy drive to New Mexico with Brad and his supposed sister Mindy. Is the little girl who calls herself 'Cricket' really Mindy, Brad's beloved little sister? Is this plan more twisted than appears? How will Tracy ever convince Brad to come to his senses... if he has any...
Rating: Summary: The Twisted Window Review: In this novel, Brad Jhonson belives that his sister Mindy was kidnapped by his step-father, her father. In the begining of this book he arrives at the Winfeild High school, in Winfeild Texas, and he is looking for a girl. The girl he finds is Tracy Loyd, soon enough she is part of Brads twisted plot to get his sister back. Yhis book was okay but the forshaowing of this book began on the front cover, and did not stop. The charachtarscould have used more development, so could some of the scenes, like the end for an expamle. i suggjest this book for 6-7 grade level readers, if you are a higher reading level don't even read it. It is a good read, Not a good buy.
Rating: Summary: Twisted Stories Review: Lois Duncan is a wonderful author who shares twisted stories with the rest of the world. In this book, a young man is in need of a girl's help. He stalks her, trying to get a young girl to help him with a task. Read this book to find out why he needs her and what the main purpose is for this book.
Rating: Summary: Start's out VERY plain, ends out original and creative. Review: Not the best book to read if you're looking for excitement front to back. The beginning was so very plain that you don't exactly need to read it. I was thoroughly enthused though when the real plot came into place. This book is so original and creative I was even surprised that it ended reasonably and not absolutely of content. Yes, once again there were some the parts could have been ignored like the death of Tracy's mother. But yet the descriptiveness of Lois Duncan's work made the book 3-dimensional. The greatest achievement in this book is the characters and how their personality's shine through so easily it's easy to see or hint some mischievous lie's made by the character Brad. The end is one of the greatest I've ever read in my life. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a book that begins very vague and ends very complex.
