Summary: The Twisted widow
Review:
For the last couple of weeks I have been reading this book called The Twisted Window by Lois Duncan. Here are some reasons this book is good, and why I chose to read it. The book keeps you guessing all the way to the end because you don't know what's going to happen next. The story is full of suspension, and clues all through the story. This book is a great book to read if you're in to misters. The book was so good I couldn't but the book down because it was full of suspension, and it kept my attention to read the book more. The main things that I like about this book are the way the charters are, and the way there described. And here are some descriptions that interested me.
There was this young girl in high school named Tracy Lloyds, a girl who moved to her uncle and Aunts home in Winfield Taxies. Because her mother got murdered in New York where they lived, and Tracy's father didn't want Tracy. Tracy mostly kept to her self and was not worried about others being friends with her. Tracy told her self never to like taxies, or the people. Tracy was really a loner, and she never truest anyone because she was really paranoid about every thing.
Then there was Brad Johnson who was from Albuquerque in New Mexico who was not known in Winfield High school, but who was vary odd and wearied to Tracy because the way he acted. He even watched her and did not understand why an odd handsome guy would be looking her direction. Brad did come to her, and ask for help because she seemed like someone Brad can trusted. But the question is help with what?
This book is full of mysteries and the person who is reading it would want to find out what happens next. Because once you thing you understand it something else happens so it leaves you with suspension. Through the whole book even to the ferry lasted page it leaves you guessing, and wondering what's going to happen. And you are going to have to read it to find out what I'm talking about, to find out how it ends. And the biggest thing you really want to know is what Brad wants with Tracy. This book was two thumbs up to my. I seen no reason at all to say in anyway that there is any bad thing about this book called The Twisted Window. This book is written by Lois Duncan who has written several books that are will known. I think anyone would enjoy this one particularly.

Summary: Slow start but an overall good book
Review: A couple of weeks ago, I read the book "The Twisted Window" by Lois Duncan. Even though it was "especially for girls," I liked it. It started out as a girl, Tracy Lloyd, notices a new boy, Brad Johnson, at school checking her out. He finally talks to her, but she is skeptical about him and feels that he is very suspicious. He later askes for her help in a little "business" he has in town. She is reluctant, but agrees. There is a suprise ending as well as one other insignificant suprise in the story, which is one reason I liked this book. I also liked the constant suspense, and even the little bit of drama that this book offered. My only dislike was the way the story got off to a slow start. Other than that one fault, this is a great book.

Summary: A Block From Reality
Review: A Review by Emily
Tracy's view on the world all starts to change when her mother dies. She is forced to move to Ohio and live with her aunt and uncle. Her optimistic mind suddenly narrows, and she notices a boy following her. Sadly her pessimistic quality fails to bring her comfort. She falls for Brad's scheme to trick Tracy into helping him with his physiological manifestations.

This book is filled with suspense and action. It draws you in with its illusions. It keeps you wanting to read more. I loved the realism between Tracy and her guardians. " Tracy your uncle and I aren't mad, but it's 11:00 on a school night, we were very worried."

I loved the ending of the story it was unexpected and shocking.
I enjoyed reading this book very much. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a suspense filled and eye opening novel to broaden their imagination.

Summary: Okay for a Duncan novel
Review: Aa a longtime Duncan fan, I would have to place this book in the lower third of all of Mrs. Duncan's novels. I base this on the fact that it did not stick in my memory as well as I Know What You Did Last Summer (which also wasn't done justice by the movie) and Locked in Time. But, as with all of Mrs. Duncan's novel, this book has enough suspense to hold your attention 'til the end of the novel. It's worth a read, but not a buy.

Summary: Brad Johnsen is in denial
Review: I like the book because there are parts that really suprise the reader. There are times when you are actually very scared. It is about a young guy that thinks he has a long lost sister, but his sister actually died four months ago. I believe that Brad's denial is the cause of the plot of this book. This is a very interesting book. I highly reccomend this book for seventh graders.

Summary: The best intense book ever!!
Review: I love this book! It is one of my favorites. I read it for Accelerated Reader my sophomore year. It took me about two days to read, it was so good. The author did an excellent job of keeping the book intense. He made the book so interesting; I could not put it down.
This story was about a girl named Tracey and a boy named Brad. Tracey went to Winfield High School and thought Brad did too. Then she found out he didn't go to high school at all. Brad came up to her and asked to help him find his baby sister. Tracey hesitated at first, but she ends up helping him. A lot of other things happen throughout the story that you will just have to read about. You need to read this book. It is awesome.

Summary: Let me correct myself...
Review: I previously reviewed this book under "A reader from ?" and I only gave it an 8. I wasn't even done with the book. Well, now that I've been done with it for a while now, let me say, that was one of the best books I've ever read. It was the greatest. As I said, I started off pretty quickly, and perhaps the main character got into it too quickly, but I could be wrong. This is such a dramatic and suspending book. Yet, what does the name have to do with the story? Someone respond with an answer, maybe Lois Duncan would.
