Summary: Great movie...great book!!
Review: im an avid reader of King and the made for tv movie for this book was very well done, i then read the screenplay for a deeper insight of the characters and for things I've overlooked the first time around and was not let down. The book draws you in from the first chapter with intricate detail of a town I haven't seen since It, therefore it is easy to feel like a regular townsperson from Kings descriptive writing. An involving book from cover to cover.

Summary: Flawed
Review: Surely, someone has pointed out to Mr. King by now that Storm of the Century contains a historical inaccuracy....loved the "Lost Colony" tie-in, but they disappeared from Roanoke Island(Manteo),North Carolina NOT Roanoke, Virginia! Glad to get this off my chest...it's been bugging me since the miniseries! By the way, I am a King fan!!

Summary: A good book, but the movie ruins it
Review: I knew I shouldn't have watched the movie before I read the book. In a way, it ruined it for me. But that doesn't change that it's one of King's best, up their with my other favourite, "The Stand".

Summary: Is there any revenge in this book
Review: I read the book and I am going to watch the movie tonight. I couldnt remember if there was any revenge in the book. I wondered why Linoge went to the small island to find a child to take over for him. If anyone can answer these questions for me please email me. I really need to know if there is revenge and what was it. Please help.

Summary: True to form for Mr. King. This book is one of the best.
Review: I guess you could say that I'm a glutton for Mr. King's work. He has a way with words that makes me wonder about him. This book allowed me to act out the parts with friends, and to once again visualize the scenes along with the real actors. I saw it on television, had to get the book.

Summary: One of Stephen King's best ever
Review: Stephen King's Storm of the Century was one of the few books which I have enjoyed reading in my life. I saw the movie and thought it was incredible, and reading the book was even better. The one thing about the story is that it does leave many questions unanswered. The setting is in Little Tall Island, Maine where a storm has cut off the island from the rest of civilization. A man named Andre Linoge appears in their town and insists, "If you give me what I want, I'll go away." Linoge asks for one of their children and ends up taking Mike Anderson's son to become his heir and teach him all that he knows. This is a must read if you a Stephen King fan in general.

Summary: A needful thing
Review: I'm a king follower, and the only thing I can say about this masterpiece is nothing, God couldn't have written that better. It has swept me away, and time stood, and the best thing was that I felt completely horrified until the last page.

Summary: Very impressive! Best of his work since "The Shinning".
Review: I was mortified through out the book! Even at the begining. I had heard all of my co-workers talking about it and how suspensful the movie was so I went out and purchased the book and knew I had gotten what I bargain for. As we speak I have my gay lover reading the book. He says it turns him on. That kind of blows my mind. I recommend this book to anyone.

Summary: Amazingly Different!!
Review: Stephen King amazes us with every new book. This one is no exception! full of turns and awe! The story is crisp, the plots always turning. What will be his next?
