Summary: How the horror all began.....
Review: Living in 1692 Massachusetts, Susannah Goode was an innocent, naive young girl. Her only mistake: loving the son of her family's bitter rivals, the Fiers. A young man whose angry father sentenced Susannah and her mother to burn at the stake. Leaving Susannah's father so devestated that he turned to the black arts and curses the Fiers for all eternity. Wherever the Fiers go, they taint the very ground with their pressence. No one who crosses their path can escape the curse - no matter how innocent or evil they are. And two hundred years later, innocent Nora Goode, whose like Susannah loved a Fier, pays the price - and now she must record the history of the evil that decimated the Fiers. I always wondered why so many bad things happened on Fear Street, and now I know - and it makes it that much more creepy!

Summary: NOT ONE OF HIS BEST!
Review: The Betrayal by R.L. Stine is a rather good book, but not one of his best. A young woman tries to figure out why there is a constant burning in her house. Due to the fact that there is a lot of evil in her past, she knows it will be hard to figure all this out. Will she or will she not? You will have to read for yourself to find out. Be aware that there are many twists and turns in this book that could possibly lead you in the wrong direction!

Summary: It was okay...
Review: This book was okay, but I really don't think that it was one of his best. After reading almost every single R.L. Stine book, this one just didn't seem right.

Susannah Goode was burned a the stake more than 300 years ago. Her father William Goode vowed revenge on the Fiers if it was the last thing he'd do. They took his life away form him, and they were going to pay.

Summary: Now run along and get the next two books...
Review: Everyone knows that Bob Stine is cool, and yes he is, but does he make sense? Often after one of his books, I'm left with this "Huh?" feeling, as if the book falls far short of everything I had in mind. Now finally this view is proven wrong in The Fear Street Saga. Saga indeed, if you understand the meaning of the word. A sweeping tale filled with fear, but sweeping nevertheless, covering generations of the doomed family fans have come to know so well. The inevitability in it all is amazingly profound. Something rare, here, Stine has me bowing to him! :)

Summary: THE BEST EVER
Review: I have read over 65 Fear Street(including Sagas, Chronicles and Super Chillers) and I have to say this is by far the best R.L. Stine saga ever! It kept me on edge, and it explained a lot. Also, it was very unpredictable. The third one is the best, but all three of them are amazing. I definatly recommend them.
