The Betrayal (The Fear Street Saga 1)

Summary: A good start.
Review: The Betrayal is the book that starts the entire Fear Street Sagas (although it's part of the Fear Street Saga trilogy). It takes place mainly in the 17th century (with Nora Goode telling the story in the 1900s), and revolves around Susannah Goode and Edward Fier, who are in love. Edward's father is evil (of course) and won't let Edward marry a commoner, so he frames Susannah and her mother for witchcraft.
The rest of the book revolves around William Goode (Susannah's father) and his need to get revenge on the Fier's. Time goes on and Edward has another family, and sure enough there are plenty of nasty deaths.

Have you ever wondered why all the bad things happen on Fearstreet. Well, This book has just the story for you. It starts at the beginning where the horror began and continues in three books. The was the first book I read from the series and I thought it was wonderful. I would have to rate this five stars because it has a great storyline and I would recamend it to anyone who wants to read it.

Review: It's start with fire. A fire burn innocent Susannah Goode and her mother. The accusation from Benjamin Fier. He claim Susannah Goode and her mother are witches and doing magic. Susannah's father, George Goode, was heartbroken. Matthew Fier robbed George Goode everything. Matthew Fier promise to tell Benjamin, his brother, that it was just a mistake. But the next morning, the Fier family were gone. And so was Susannah Goode and her mother. They were burned at the stake. They screamed. George Goode left with nothing. No wife, no daughter, no money. He was crushed. George Goode vowed to find the Fier and pay for what they did to him. He put a curse on the Fier. And nothing could break the curse. The Fier family begin to break away. They begin to die. The Goode get them for good. Ezra Fier began a search for the Goode and vowed to destroy them, to kill them. And that how the feud begin. The Goode versus the Fier. Nora Goode were the only one who know the story of the family feud. Can she tell the story before it too late to break the curse?

Review: you should definetly read this book, its really good, it tells you how fear street ever got started from the very begininning between the goodes and Fiers (Fears, you'll find out) but i suggest that if you are going to read this one read the 2nd and the 3rd continuation to this book.

Review: If you like stories that you can't figer out then you have gotta read this book. When I read this book in some parts of it I thought that I was going to cry and sceam at that same time. But if you have already read this I have one queston for yea... Do you think that the curse should have just been put on Mattew or the whole family? But like I said before you have got to read this book and diside for yourself...

Review: Well i'm only 11 years old but this book was still one of the best books that I have read. But I read the 3rd book first so in the beginning of the book I already knew what was going to happen. But after I read the book it really got me thinking and the end of the book really got to me.
