Rating: Summary: Simone's Mysteries of the Beach House Review: I loved this story! It had mystery, murder, and excitement. It had almost everything I like in it,a psycho murder, atime warp, and one person lived through the supposed murder. They also had disapperances. Two people went into the beach house and never came out.It also had an evil murderer. It was a great story.
Rating: Summary: one of the best books ever written by R.L. Stine Review: I read this book some years ago and I can still remember this 'horror' story. This story was so scary and so well written that to this day I still find it one of the best books I have read. The ending was SOOO good but also very sad and very frightening. I know I am being vague but I don't want to reveal the story to you. You've got to read it for yourselves and experience a true horror story. This book rules.
Rating: Summary: Mr. Cynical takes a stab Review: I think i read this book about five years ago and the only thing i can remember about it is that someone called Buddy shows off his arse accidentally when he loses his swim-trunks. Grow out of R.L. Stine, people! There's a whole world of, um, better stuff out there. Like sleep. And hayfever tablets.
Rating: Summary: The Result of A Writer's Block Review: I think that this book was really good until page 140. then it took a spin of turn with all that magic stuff. then it ends with one of them caught in time -- and it ends just like the Fear Street Sagas. Then again, all of Stine's books end with their epic ending and then the house burns down! It was like a Christopher Pike book gone bad while the author had a writer's block. he mixed about every ending he ever created into this one book
Rating: Summary: Great Book Until... Review: I thought R.L. Stine had written his best book. It was interesting and had a high body count (that's a good thing for me). But... he had to write the ending. There were possibilities to make an interesting connection between the murders then and the murders now. BUT THE CRAP HE PUT IN AT THE END IS JUST SOOO RIDICULOUS!!! He had writtena great slasher book and just had to ruin it. Overall a GREAT book, right up till the end. Could've used some more humor in it too.
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK IS PERFECT !!! Review: I've read alot of R.L.Stine books now,and Beach House is by far the best one out of them all.Everything was perfect the plot, the characters, the setting, everything.I've read it 3 times, and I'm still not tired of it.R.L.Stine really out did himself with this one believe me.I also think it would make a good movie to,so if you like a good thriller, suspense, and mystery all in one this book is definitely for you.
Rating: Summary: GREAT UNTILL.....THE END!!!! Review: IT was o.k untill the end. He could of done so much better and then ruind it .Other than the end it was a FABULESS book. I recamend this book to any and everyone who loves thrillers!!!!
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK DESERVES 1OO STARS! Review: Like I said before. This book deserves more than 5 stars. I read it like five times in a row and I still plan on reding it again. That is how good and utterly creepy it is. When I first began to read this book, I was wondering why Stine kept on switching from time to time. But then at the ending I realize why. Then I also wondered why it was called beach house but the ending also explaines that too. There is really one killer but in a way, there's really three. I was so shocked when i read the ending. This is the BEST BEST BEST BEST BEST book that Stine has ever wrote. It has suspence, romance, horror and a totally heart sanking conclusion. Shoppers who are reading my review, you will not regret buying this book. It is just wonderful. I RECCOMEND! BUY THIS BOOK! IT IS REALLY GOOD!
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: Mr. Stine has outdone himself with this book. It keeps you reading til the very end. I could not put this book down! This book is a super thriller that will keep you guessing til the end
Rating: Summary: A very mysterious book. Review: Out of the many books I have read, I like the book Beach House, written by R.L. Stine, the most. When I would start reading it, the writer always kept me in suspense, so I never wanted to put the book down. R.L. Stine, for some reason, is good at leaving the readers in question of what is going to happen at the end of his chapters. Beach House is a very mysterious book, and it switches from time every few chapters. One example is, it starts out as 1956, and it talks about that time for about three chapters. Then it switches off to about the 1990's, and the book speaks a bit about that. Another reason I like this book, when a boy named Brad, who is 18 years old, is able to be in the year 1956 and all of a sudden, he is in the 1990's. Every time I would finish a time, like 1956 or the 1990's, I would always wonder how he could be in two places at once. I finally decided he was immortal, but I was wrong. I do not want to give away the ending in case anybody wants to read the book Beach House. The reasons I have written down are only a few that made me want to read Beach House, written by R.L. Stine.
