Summary: Slappy's Back.
Review: After a prolonged absence, Slappy; the possessed dummy who comes to life when the magic words in his pocket are read, returns to the Goosebumps books. This is Slappy's fourth appearance. Slappy is as rude and sneaky as ever. However, this time Slappy may have met his match in an overgrown doll named Mary-Ellen. The book, like all of the books with Slappy, is a page turner and finally reveals the true origins of Slappy. I've always found ventriloquist dummys frightening and stories about them to be especially scary. BRIDE OF THE LIVING DUMMY is no exception and is spooky even at the end.

Summary: Bride of the Living Dummy
Review: Bride of the Living Dummy is about a girl named Jillian and her sisters, Katie and Amanda. Katie and Amanda have a doll named Mary- Ellen, and they talk to that doll as if the doll were alive. In the morning, the girls try to give Jillian a haircut, because they say that Mary-Ellen said that she needed a haircut for insulting Mary-Ellen the night before. Afterwards, Jillian is supposed to take her sisters to a ventriloquist show at the Saturday matinee. There they meet Slappy, and when Slappy finds his way to the Zinman residence, all sorts of things start to happen. Such things indicate that Slappy wants his bride. Overall, a well written book.

Summary: Bride of the living dummy (how i see it)
Review: I have read every Slappy book made this is second best. It's when Slappy meets these girls and their doll Mary-ellen. Their biggest sister finds the dummy on a trash can outside of the theater and decides to take it home. He almost eats her lizard, destroys her walls. Then later you find out about Mary-ellen. She's alive! She wants to marry Slappy but Slappy wants the big sister Jillian. They get in a fight. It's a great book! not better then Slappy's nightmare(which is my personal favorite)It's good it even has a movie of it's own! READ IT!! IT'S GREAT!

Summary: Bride of the Living Dummy
Review: I like Bride of The living Dummy because it is a scary book and scary books are my second favorite kind of book.My favorite part was when they thought that Slappy the evil dummy was dead but his spirt is in control of Jane, the main charecter. It could be beter if Slappy did scaryer things like ensted of puting the lizard in his mouth he could have tied the lizard's tail to the side of the mirror by the blood writing. I read Bride of the Living dummy becaues the book cover looked scary and interestig.

Summary: Bride of the Living Dummy
Review: I like this book because it was really scary. It was cool that Slappy wanted Jillian to be his bride instead of Mary Ellen; I thought that was the scariest part. I think R.L. Stine should write more scary books like this one.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Okay.
Review: It has been a long time since I read a Goosebump book. I'm too old. But this was the only book that was an okay book. It gave me some chills when I was little, all the others suck. But the old kids should read the R.l. Stine boohs that are for grown ups. (example. Supersticious is a scary novel.)
