Rating: Summary: A MUST READ Review: The title of this book is The Curse of the Blue Figurine written by John Bellairs. This is an awesome book. This story takes place in the past. The main character's name is Jim. Jim is kind of nerdy. The problem in this story is that Jim finds this blue figurine that is cursed. This book is a must read! This is a horrifying and cool story and is something some people can relate to. It has Lusafur in it, has awesome details like: how they described the whole story line, especially how they described how Santin was vanished back to Hell where it came from, and some people like Gothic people would like this book. All theses factors are the reasons why the story is interesting or is a must read. John Bellairs is the author of The Curse of the Blue Figurine. John is a Gothic Mystery novel writer. He was born in 1938 and died in 1991. Before he wrote 15 books he went to the University of Chicago. John Bellairs is a great author. He has the most artistic details I have ever read.
Rating: Summary: Scary Review: This book really scared me. It tought me to not accept gifts from stangers. The part at the end was really awesome. Read this book if you like a good mystery.
Rating: Summary: One from the rant closet... Review: This book seems to me to be one of the best books in the Johnny Dixon "series," and is second only to the Chessmen of Doom - a truly creepy book. A must read for all Bellairs fans!
Rating: Summary: Exceptional Review: This was a very good book and I encourage everybody to read it. It deals with curses which is awesome and obvious from the title. The story flows very smoothly and I could read it again and again. It is my favorite book by Bellairs.
Rating: Summary: The trouble begins when Johnny takes a book from his church. Review: When Johnny Dixon takes a hollow book containing an Egyptian statue and a menacing note signed Regimius Baart, he does not know he is unleashing demonic forces, which put his life in jeopardy.
Rating: Summary: This was a pretty good book Review: When Johnny was going through his church basement, he found a box with a blue figurine. When he took it home with him, he didn't know he was making an evil spirit mad.
