Rating: Summary: Surprisingly Good Review: I guess I shouldn't have been surprised since I ordered the book after seeing all of the reviews posted. I sat down with it on Sunday and read it in one sitting. It was very, very good. Unusual and good. All of the characters were great, though my favorites were Tucker, Rex, Dad and Lenny - most of the Adamites. If you are looking for an unusual romance (and I was) this is the book to read.
Rating: Summary: Best of the Old West meets the Big City Review: I picked this book up ... Let me tell you - I would have paid five times as much !!! The title really caught my eye, and the brief backpage description sold me. I fell in love with our cowboy Tucker, his horse Snort, his dog Rex, and even crusty old Dad.Lizzie ? She ROCKED !!!! Once I began reading, I could not put the book down. I literally read all night, and enjoyed every page and every minute. The style in which the book is written, alternating chapters written in first person by Tucker and Lizzie, is wonderful. Their unique and colorful personalities are reflected in their descriptive language. The characters are "killer" and the humor is divine. I equally enjoyed the secondary characters, especially Tucker's childhood buddy Lenny the militia man and expert weapon creator. The plot is great and the story flow is pefect. Not once was I tempted to put this book down or skim a single page. The authors keep the reader in perpetual suspense - never knowing what to expect next. PLEASE, oh please, let there be a sequel. If not, at least more books in the same "vein". Pun fully intended. I've passed this book around to various friends and family members who have all loved it as much as I did .
Rating: Summary: Starts slowly, but then hang on Review: I thought this book was excellent. Personally I think it should be required reading for all freshman reading classes. It's funny, energetic, serious, and out of the ordinary. The vampires and cowboys mixed make it an odd combination, but that's only part of the fun. read it and find the rest...

Rating: Summary: The best of the West and More Review: I thought this book was great. The perspectives were very interesting, all the characters had something to like and dislike, there was humor and action, romance and adventure, heros and villians. What more can one ask for in a book. You will not regret owning this book.

Rating: Summary: Very Unusual and Very Fun Review: If you are tired of the same-ole same-ole read, then you have to try this book for a unique change of pace. The cover cought my eye as I was searching for a book that I had not read yet, which was a task in itself. I was thrilled to have found it! I fell in love with Tucker and Lizzie, along with the varied other characters in the book. The locations, well let me just say that I have spent alot of time in Wyoming, and I actually bought the book for a trip I was taking to Santa Fe, what a coincidence! The locations were acurate, the story remarkably beleivable, given the subject matter. In short this was a great book! So in this one instance I am glad I judged this book by its cover!
Rating: Summary: Whimsical, Laugh-out-loud funny and Original Review: If you've despaired lately of reading something fresh, this is your book. I was delighted with the whole concept and can just imagine how many publishers probably turned it down for being non-conventional. I loved Tucker, the cowboy, and his homespun wisdom. Read this book.
Rating: Summary: A must read for real Cowboys and those that wannabe! Review: It is obvious from the first page that the writer has had a genuine cowboy education - something that only another authentic cow"person" would recognize. For those who are not the real article this story will provide an introduction to and appreciation for "cowboy humor" and introduce you to the unique world of the cowboy as well as the vampire. The story keeps you either hooting with laughter over the dog or the vernacular or in complete suspense as the plans of the "good" evil vampire versus the "bad" evil vampire unfold. My only regret is that I've finished the book. This is a book you'll want to pass on to your friends...it is well worth reading for many reasons.
