Rating: Summary: If you like 20's Pulp Fiction that is gritty you'll love it! Review: This series of books are so good you'll want to get at least two at a time. Once you have completed one you'll want to pick up the next with no time wasted. This entire series is a run away 20's tale with a supernatural twist. P N Elrod portrays Jack as just you average guy that drinks blood on occasion:)The setting is so believeable you'll think your dodging bullets right along with Jack.
Rating: Summary: "Excellent" Review: Throughout the years I've read many books of this genre, from many authors. P.N. Elrod, in my personal opinion, is the best. No other writer describes such as she, and keeps the reader on their toes as often. The book "Bloodlist" kept me craving more, keeping me up long hours into the night reading happily, something I rarely do. I've read this book quite a few times, and have enjoyed it quite a bit. Being one who studies the "paranormal" and whatnot, I had some insight on the "vampire" of our society, or rather, what our society makes "it" out to be. The novel is one that is well written, and that explains, in short, the "life" of this creature that is so popular in our culture today. In short, this novel is very well worth every cent taken buy it.
Rating: Summary: Leery, but satisfied. Review: When I picked up this book my thought's were "Mystery? Detective's? No. I don't think so." I said that 3 years ago, and now I've read every vampire related novel in the library so I sighed and picked it up, desperate for something to read. When I got it home and started I was still leery, but soon I was hooked. Now I've read 5 of the series(all that our Library has) and I want to know if there's more. They're excellent and keep you on your toes trying to solve the mysteries that come up in every novel. My favorite character is Charles. He's so suave, and smart. (another plus is the accent.) All in all, excellent plot lines that enthralls readers, well built characters, even the secondary one's, and always interesting twists. And of course, the best part. The Vampires. So, I give this series 5 stars and 3 thumbs up.(I'll just have to borrow someone else's hand)

Rating: Summary: Absolutely wonderful! Review: Yay P.D.! I love vampire characters, and Jack is one of the best. I can't believe I've fallen in love with a vampire! The time period in which it is set adds so much to the atmosphere, I love the Bogarty gangster dialogue and the sleazy back streets and bars. When I was finished reading, I got depressed because I actually missed having the characters around. You can bet I'll be buying the others in the series.
