Rating: Summary: Very suspenseful and itsy-bitsy romantic Review: This is a VERY good book. It's about a chain letter(like, DUH) telling a group of friends to do mean, semi-illegal things. Allison, the central character must find who's sending the group these things, since, previously, they thought they had already found out who did this. BOY, were they wrong! Allison must stop the person before she's "in the box," because "once she's in it, it's almost impossible to get out." This book was really full of those "wise sayings." Read to find out what happens (obviously a good ending). Qian L.
Rating: Summary: A GREAT SEQUEL!! Review: This was a really good book. If you read the first one you had to read this one. As soon as I finished the first one I ran right out to buy the second one. This book is equally as good as the first one. I definitely recommend this book to people who like to read thrillers. GO C.P.!
Rating: Summary: It was a great book Review: This was my favorite yet. And the plot fits in so perfectly with the original. The story also had a great explanation for Neil Hurly's actions. The ending was sorta sad at first. I didn't expect Alison to do what she did.
Rating: Summary: Great book to read! Review: This was the first book written by Christopher Pike that I read, and after reading it I just bought one book after the other by the same author. I read this book before I read the first one, but I had no trouble following along at all. It does help a little to read the first book, so you know all the characters, but it isn't necessary. This was a great book. It's easy to follow, it has a great plot, and even when you know who the bad guy is, it doesn't take away from the story. Mr.Pike wrote this book with the same style he writes all his books, which makes it great. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because sometimes it gets a little gross, but it doesn't go to far. I recommend it to anyone, whether you're a long-time fan of Mr.Pike, or you've just discovered this wonderful author.
Rating: Summary: PIKE FANS, DO YOU AGREE WITH THE LAST SENTENCE? Review: Time has passed; Allison, Tony, and the others are finally getting their lives back in order. Then the ominous purple envelope shows up again. The Caretaker is back, and things cannot possibly get any worse. Most Pike fans enjoyed this book, but still thought it was unnecessary...most sequels are. But ultimately, this novel outclasses the original (a better I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER)with a very symbolic ending. Waiting for book #3, & probably the only person doing so...though I think most of Pike's fans would proudly accept anything right now. We've waited over three years...PLEASE GIVE US SOMETHING NEW!
