Rating: Summary: A break in the Pattern? I don't think so... Review: As many of the fellow V.C. fans believe, this is a break in the pattern of the five book series. I disagree. There will be a fifth book. The Logan family took a different twist than the others - there were 2 pasts to tell rather than one. The story of Laura is the first. The fifth book will detail the events of Belinda & Judge Childs' affair, the birth of Hallie, Oliva's committing of her sister, the scandal of Hallie & Kenneth, and the eventual flee of Hallie & Chester. Do not fret, the rest of the story will be told. I only have one disappointment - what becomes of Melody? She is a great character & her story is never really completed. Over all, Music of the Night itself was very good, but not the best. The Dollangangers still remain my all-time favorite - written by V.C. herself.
Rating: Summary: Music In The Night Review: I really loved this book. I can never put down any of VC Andrews books. I really think that I would like to have finished with Melody though. She was so interesting. I love all of her books, and I think that everyone should read these!
Rating: Summary: A TRUE ROMANTIC-TRADGEDY Review: This book is excellent, you really must read it, Laura is so in love with robert, they are some what a pair of star crossed lovers, who's love is great, and yet they have so many obstacles to cross, the characters are great, and the story is a good change from past novels, the ghost writer is getting better, overall i would have to compare this dramatic, romantic, tradgedy to "Romeo and Juliet"
Rating: Summary: Same plot again Review: Again the book is taking the same route as the other series. I have been a fan for years and have read many of the series. Although I think this will be my last, it all gets old when repeating it. As a first time reader I would find this a good book, it does keep you reading to find out what happens next.
Rating: Summary: Hmmm. . . Review: This was a good idea to break away from the usual V.C. Andrews pattern. But I found it disappointing Laura's story was not told in the full depth that Melody's story has been. The story lead up to many points, but never fully explained those points. Hopefully the writers will write another one to fill in those gaps.
Rating: Summary: Another VC Andrews page turner - yet disappointing Review: Learning of Laura and how her tragedy came to be was indeed interesting. I hope this is not the final in the Logan series. There is still much open from Melody's story! What will happen to her! In addition, whatever finally becomes of Haile. Writers...we need to finish this series completely!!
Rating: Summary: It was a big letdown Review: This new book was a big letdown. I was very disappointed. Also usually there are five books per series (with the exception of My sweet audrina) and I would like to know if there will be a fifth book? It doesn't seem fair that the first three books in this series revolved around Melody and then the fourth jumped to Laura. What was the writer thinking.............
Rating: Summary: WOW Review: This is going to be SOOO great. Another V.C. Andrews book. But this time instead of Melody's daughter, we get Laura. Finally, they are breaking that 3 books the main character then the duaghter and finally the mother or grandmother. But I only wonder if they are going to end Melody's story.
Rating: Summary: A Haunting Sequel to Logan Family Series Review: When I got it, I opened the cover page to view step-back illustration, I got the feeling from looking at Laura Logan in the ocean, glancing at me, reassure me that she will be okay and be happy before she would swim to join Robert on sail boat... very haunting image and it is prove to be very good addition to the Logan series because it fill in the gap between the time after Chester and Haille left Cape Cod and before Melody arrive to Cape Cod. We will get to see other side of Cary Logan and see the family before Laura's death. This book is a must to read!!!
Rating: Summary: A wonderful change!! Review: Im so glad to see that there is going to be a change in the pattern!! I always wondered what really happened to Laura, you only get the bare bones of the story in the previous books. And the fact that the traditional pattern is being broken amazes me!! I cannot wait to read this book. it makes me wonder what the final book will be about..im thinking the grandmother? I cannot wait
