Summary: Music in the Night
Review: I thought this was one of the best V.C. Andrews written. A must read for any V.C. Andrews fan. I couldn't put it down. I'm happy to see the cycle is being broken and I'm looking forward to the final book in the series Muted Voices. I think Laura was a much more interesting character in just this one book than Melody was in the first three books. I just have one complaint and this goes for all the books in all the series. I'm tired of all the main characters running around calling thier parents mommy and daddy when they are teenagers and even older. Teenagers and adults just don't do that, it's a habit children usually grow out of in the later years of elementary school.

Summary: This book captivatd my mind and drew me closer every page.
Review: I have read 2 novels in this series before "Music In The Night", and I really loved them. This book was also well written but I was surprised to read only about Laura and NOT Melody. I thought Laura was already dead and in the past. I am not complaining because it was neat to find out more about Laura and all the weird things her Grandmother Olivia had planned. I do not normally cry while reading books, but I did. READ IT!!!!! You will love it too ;)

Review: A Wonderful, Inspirational, and Heartfelt book

Summary: Who says the pattern was broken?
Review: Do you remember Web of Dreams? Main character finds diary and reads about her grandmother's life before and after running away to live in the Willie's. In UNFINISHED Symphony, what was Melody doing the last 2 pages of the book? She was reading Laura's Diary. "I couldn't just ignore them (Laura's Possessions) anymore, however....I began to read. A long time ago, I lived a fairy tale life." What does the first line in this book say? "A long time ago, I lived a fairy tale life". Who's to say that the pattern won't really be broken and 6 books be published for this series, instead of 5: Melody's daughter and the prequel to it all--Haille's story. Melody's story is finished. She chose not to go to school, but to marry Cary and stay with him in Cape Cod. I thought this was a refreshing change from the normal series pattern. This series hasn't had that freak you out element that the other's have had. This one is more about people with real life problems. For those of us who have been reading these books since they were children, it's kind of nice that these books are starting to "grow up" too.

Summary: best out of the worst series
Review: The Logan series is my least favorite series because I completely despise the weak, fragile, oh-so-beautiful and precious Melody. But I wanted to be fair so I read the rest of the series without developing any liking for her. Unfortunately, the books in this series seem to be among the worst VC books written....how many times must we be subjected to Melody addressing her mother "Mommy" in every sentence she speaks?....or reading how something Cary did "took her breath away"?

Keeping all that in mind, I didn't have high hopes for this book. Surprisingly though, I thought it was the best out of the entire series. Even with all of Laura's "Mommy"'s and "Daddy"'s, I still found her rather likeable, as a sweet and sensitive character with minimal whining. I liked how this book gave us a taste of the way life was before Laura's accident, and were able to see Jacob without his bible-thumping righteousness and a happier Sara. After all of the references about Laura in the prior books, its nice to finally read the story behind them.

One thing I didn't like about this book was Cary. His obssession over Laura was just plain creepy, not to mention irritating. It made Cary, who was intended to be viewed as a tough, stubborn character, come off looking like a little lost puppy (and a sick one at that).

Definitely the best book in the series (though thats not saying much). Laura is much sweeter and gentler than Melody, not to mention not so stupid. If you'd read the rest of the series and found it as discouraging as I did, read this book and you'll take some comfort in knowing that the first 3 books weren't a COMPLETE waste of time.

Summary: I always read V.C.Andrews books to the very end
Review:

I have read almost, if not all of the V.C. Andrews books. I love this author. This book Music in the Night is another great book. When I read V.C.Andrews books I can't put them down and read them in about 3 days.

As for this book, I loved it but would have liked for it to have been the first book in the series. I don't like reading a series of books where the 4th book goes back in time in relation to the first 3 books I have already read.

This book has enough substance to stand on it's own as the lead book. Melody, Robert, Cary and the Logan family are interesting enough to make you want to read on about what happens in the future with Cary and his family.

Like I said before, I love all of the V.C.Andrews books, I just wish the authors would stop producing 3 books with one lead character and then jump back into the past to tell about another very important character in the storyline. I hope that the next book will tell more about what eventually happens between Cary and Melody.

Summary: Average .. !
Review: The first half of this book was fantastic. It was really heading somewhere but the second half was just a big flunk, total let down. I cant believe the last part of the book was like this. Very disapointed.

Summary: Better than the others in this series
Review: I started this series with Melody and I think i read half of the next book and then read part of Olivia and I just couldn't take it cause those books were horrible. And then I read this book and I thought it started out slow but it got so good after the accident happened and she lost her memory. Nothing like that had happened to a VC Andrews girl before so I thought it was a good change and it was such a sad ending. It was MUCH better than the books i have read from the Logan series, I will eventually reread the ones i have and read the others.

Summary: Interesting.....
Review: This is the fourth book written by V.C.Andrews that I have ever read. I thought that this book was quite interesting because it told Laura's story. It showed how she lived and what her feelings were on life. The only downfall to this book was that they should of had this book be the first book of the series. This would of been enough to encourage the reader to keep reading the series to find out about Lauras Grandmother, and Cary. But other then that this book was excellent! It told how Laura died and how she lost her memory. Then it told that at the end she got to be with the love of her life that she lost because her grandma told her that they were not allowed to see each other anymore.

Summary: Laura Needed an Advocate
Review: I can relate to what Laura's gone through. In fact, I had written an anonymous review at one time on one of the other VC Andrews's books in the past year. Can anybody guess which book it was? In fact can anybody guess who I am? I don't think it is fair that people with disabilities are forbidden to marry on account of what their limitations are. I even told my mom so, but she said I should accept it. I AM SO MAD! If it hadn't been for any friends I have had especially from high school or college, I just don't know what I would have done. Talking about how I feel makes me feel better so I don't have it eating at me. As for the story, I was disgusted with Olivia for bullying her family. Samuel should have stood up to his wife a long time ago. That way less hurt would have gone on very long.
