Summary: The absolute best book I've read of Koontz's novels, so far!
Review: I absolutely loved the whole book! I especially loved the idea about the little doll! It was sooo cute, until you find out what it is! In every book I read, I picture it in my head, but I didn't even picture the whole thing, it was that scary! Despite the scaryness, it was really interesting how Koontz used the characters to play with your mind about the whole concept! Also, I like the fact that he got married to Del, if he wouldn't have gotten married, I wouldn't have liked the book as much! I say: GET OFF YOUR COUCH AND GO BUY THIS BOOK!!!

Summary: Tick Tock is a book that is next to impossible to put down.
Review: Tick Tock is an incredible book. It has everything you need in a book. Frightening content, characters that you soon begin to get attached to, suspense, and a plot. Dean Koontz is one of my favourite authors and this book just made that staement even more so.

Summary: Strange, but I got a good laugh
Review: This was not your typical Koontz novel, but I enjoyed reading it. The only complaint I have is the villian. Tommy's mom's friend. A person who did not come into the story until the very end of the book. Since someone left the doll at his door, then we have a who-done-it, and when it is a character that doesn't have any part in the book until they are revealed as the villian, is annoying. Yet, getting to that part was fun. Not a hardback book, so worth the price to read.

Summary: A journey back to the Koontz or the past.
Review: All Tommy Phan wants is to be viewed as an american. A fast, flashy car, a beautiful woman at his side, and a classy job. When his dreams seem to be becoming a reality Tommy finds a rag doll on his doorstep. Perplexed he brings it inside and sets it on his desk. Before his eyes the rag doll comes to life with the obvious goal to take Tommies life from him. Tommy goes on a hair raising race for his life with a kooky waitress named Deliverance Paine. You will laugh your way through while the goose bumps rise on your arms. This delightful read reminds you of the Koontz of the past. Fun and chilling with an interesting turn at the end.

Review: When I read the first few pages I couldn't believe my eyes! A little doll gone mad????? Are you kidding me???? Certainly not a typical D.K. book!! The humor was refreshing, though. For me it was no "thriller":he couldn't keep my attention for long This definitly is not his best book...

Summary: A bizarre novel with a surprising twist of humor.
Review: Tommy Phan is a Vietnamese-American, who is a sucessful, single man attempting to claim his fame in publishing a novel. Everything was fine and dandy for Phan, until he is visited by a terrorizing curse. This book seems to be a dark science-fiction, then it freshingly includes a hidden humor that is extremely entertaining.

Summary: Interesting
Review: This book is totally different from many of his other novels. Quite odd because this was more on the lighter side of reading, yet I was expecting something intense like In the Face of Fear. I gave it a seven mainly becuase of the totally unexpected events told in the story (UFO abductions, a multi-millionare working in a diner as a waitress with a dog who also has psychic powers??!!) But then again, it was better than some of his other books, such as Cold Fire and Demon Seed. He incorporated something not used in many of his earlier novels, lots of witty humor. So if you're looking for something different and funny from Dean Koontz, this is a must read.

Summary: Light reading?! It's supposed to be!
Review: This book was written to counteract the darkness of "Dark Rivers of the Heart"- it's supposed to be a little 'fluffy'! I laughed my hind end off the whole time-and looked over at my black Lab suspiciously more than once! I loved Del and Tommy-and Tommy's mom was hysterical!

Summary: I thought this book was full of suspence and very exciting!
Review: The book over all was great! I like the characters, especially the dog, he seemed so cute yet there was something strange about him you find out later. I never thought that Del's parents are abducted by aliens that was so neat when I found that out.

Review: It was light reading, but a little drawn out. It seamed to be both intense and comedic at the same time.
