Rating: Summary: Ugh Review: Finishing this book was like pulling teeth. Most of Cooney's books are very good, but this one was extremely boring. It's hard to feel sorry for the herione, Meghan, and even the climax of the book doesn't pick up the pace. Not only do you not care what happens to the villian of sorts, Lannie, you couldn't care less if they all dropped dead. I found myself wondering why they didn't just get it over with. Don't judge all Cooney books by this one. The Face on the Milk Carton is probably her best.
Rating: Summary: Ok.... just doesn't seem like Cooney's work..... Review: Freeze Tag was a good, book, I guess. I liked the way it had a great beginning, starting with Lannie freezing people, but this book was just plain... weird! I mean, come on, how on earth did Lannie get her powers to FREEZE people, especially, like, their HEARTS?? I hated it when West was frozen, and it was all Lannie's fault! Most people are disappointed in the ending, and I must say, so am I, but for a different reason. I LIKED it when Meghan saved Lannie from the car, but, still, why was it so unsetteling??? It needed more details, more clues, and.... to sound more like Cooney, because her books are all so great... this book was just... uh, weird. That's all I can say...
Rating: Summary: Oh my Goodness!.. Review: Gosh, Caroline B Cooney comes up with some very unusual stories! Here is no exception...A cold young girl goes around freezing people by pointing at them. Yeah, it held my interest...but there are better Horror novels.
Rating: Summary: Amazing, Superb Review: I have just finished this book and i think it is great! I have read 5 other books by this author they were all great but this i have to say was the best. This book had a bad end not because it is poorly written (very good writing in fact) but because the reader wants to read more. I really want a sequel to this book and i hope more people had the joy i had when i read this book. If you are wondering what it is about it is simply love and thrill.
Rating: Summary: Freeze Tag: Great book, Bad ending Review: I just finished reading Caroline B. Cooney's Freeze Tag. Although the book was interesting as well as unique I was disappointed with the ending. I have read many of Caroline B. Cooney's books and this would be one of the best if the ending was different. If a sequel was written I would enjoy it much more! However, I recommend this book to others in hopes that they will enjoy it more then I did. I REALLY WANT THERE TO BE A SEQUEL!
Rating: Summary: Unsettling.... Review: I loved the cover for this book, it was one of those covers that just grab you. Anyway, I really liked the sense of unease that Caroline B Cooney set up through the book. Lannie's presence whenever she was around scared me, and I have to admit I was pretty annoyed at the ending. But, I understand the message that Cooney is sending, I just didn't like Lannie.
Rating: Summary: Ok Review: It's pretty good, I've read better, but the book seemed to really upset me... I mean, here's this girl, Lannie, who just prances into Meghan Moores and West Trevors love life and takes the kid over... i felt they should have just killed her, or something! And the book seemed to go really slow and then had a sped up, confusing end. Meghan should have just let her freeze!
Rating: Summary: The story was rubbish! Don't read it! Review: The story was very comlicated and confusing. It wasn't very interesting. Freeze tag is just a simple game that a group of friends play but gets out of hand when Lannie really freezes people. This book sounds good but isn't.
Rating: Summary: Freeze Tag Review: This book was actually pretty good. I loved the characters, the normal herione, the perfect guy, the evil one... and I loved the plot. All mixed togething in an incredible smoothie. It was delicious!
Rating: Summary: Freeze Tag Review: This book was good but it drives me crazy that the ending just leaves you hanging. I too hope that there is a sequeal. I really like Caroline B. Cooney but I was really disappointed when I read this book. I recomend it for any one who is looking for a page turner.
