Summary: The master of deception can easily deceive.
Review: This book was truly a page turner. There can be little doubt that what was written, actually occured. Michelle Smith reveals the evil of Satan and Satanism through the eyes of a child, unclouded by the years of conditioning most adults become acclimated to. One who believes in the goodness of the Lord must also believe the evil of Satan, the master of deceit. As Michelle ellequently describes the pentameter of his words, it becomes evident that she truly stood face to face with evil incarnate. There is nothing in her description that illegitimatizes what she witnessed. Anyone who professes a belief in God without a belief in Satan walks a thin line between salvation and damnation. It is Satan's ambition that mankind not acknowledge his existence, after all if man only believes in good, does not evil become good too? One never has to look far to see or hear at least one justification for every atrocity that has ever occured. If you read the book with this in mind, you will get more out of it than just a story.

Summary: Creepy
Review: What I have to say is going to sound weird, but it truly happened. When I was 18 years old, I lived with this married couple. The wife was a beautician and was at work the day this happened to me. That day while I was at home, what I saw, I can't put into words, without it sounding crazy. You see, what I am going to tell you is, I saw parts of this book as if it was happening to me at my home. After this incident I got very scared and went to my friends work (the one I lived with) and told her what happened while at home. She replied, telling me about this book she had been reading at the same time this strange occurance happened to me. What she had been reading I saw with my own eyes at home, as if it was happening there right in front of me. Further still, I had never heard of the book Michelle Remembers, until I went to the beauty shop to talk with my friend. The most creepy thing about what happened to me was my last name is Harding and in the book, Michelle's last name is Harding. Yes, I know that wasn't her real name but still the coincidence really creeped me out. I read a little over half the book and had to put it down. I believe this story is true, becuase of what happened to me personally.

Summary: What is wrong with you, people?
Review: What is wrong with you, people?
Do you even consider to take this BS seriously? It is all about money.
Knowing that so many stupid folks around they're cashing in on SRA.
I know Michelle and Larry personally. They are a couple shysters....reach ones...thanks to you, readers.
When you read this garbage, think about children who have been taken away from their parents by social workers in UK, wrongfully accused people sitting in jail, millions of tax payer money wasted on police investigations, medical research and so on. This book created panic and paranoia. Very poor written book, by the way.
There are so many material you can find about this book, search the web.
But if you are really into this stuff ( Satan, magic etc) read something which worth it...Goethe, Dostoevsky, Dante, Bulgakov, Poe
Take care, John

Summary: Witch Hunt
Review: Yes, this book is a work of fiction. There never was a Michelle. There has never been a case of Satanic Ritual Abuse in North America. Real Satanists do not believe in a literal Satan, but as an archetype. Anton LaVey founded Satanism in 1966 in San Francisco with a bunch of hippies. Today the group remains post-hippie fallout and counter-culture members, none of which really believe in Satan. This book sparked an intolerant and bigoted anti-Satanism movement that ruined people's lives. This book is like McCarthy's list. Support this book and support bigotry. With hunts happen today, and this book is a leading cause.... If you value freedom you will not enjoy this book.

Summary: wish I could give zero stars
Review: Yuck. This book is really awful. Written in a highly melodramatic style, with little thought put into it in advance it seems.....and all those bizarre claims....well, it's just sensationalistic junk.

Obviously, Michelle had her problems. I have no idea what they are. But it's too bad that she and her therapist-co-author did not prove their case before they inflicted this melodrama on the world.
