Rating: Summary: A Truly Unique Memoir Review: A sometimes frightening, sometimes poignant tale of growing up poor in upstate New York. I'm not sure which was more terrifying, the paranormal events that plagued the author and her family or the real life cruelty inflicted on them by family and friends. A thoroughly fascinating book!
Rating: Summary: Horrifying Review: I am a therapist and psychological trauma expert and am also very spiritual. This book scared me to death! This may sound crazy but when I started to read it bad things happened to me for the entire first week. I felt I had to pray to continue and am really afraid to read the rest of it. I am now using a cross as a bookmarker and I am afraid of this book as I once was of a Quigi board. I know it sounds crazy, but believe me I am not! Dear old Walter put his curse on many people and on his heirs as he died. This book is very well written, but I am now afraid to even sell it to someone else! It makes Amityville horror and other similar books look like a fairytale in comparison. So be prepared to be scared to death and if you are spiritual stay away from it completely.

Rating: Summary: A Wild Ride!! Review: I laughed - I cryed - I kept looking over my shoulders as the Creepy Crawleys were sneeking up on me - Man and I thought I grew up poor, turns out we were both rich and normal. Looking forward to book two. Well done!!
Rating: Summary: A Must Read for Anyone! Review: If you're looking for a stereotypical haunting, this book is not for you. Instead, behind the cover of this novel you will find a twisted, frightening tale of the horrors one family faced, and by the grace of God managed to overcome. The supernatural experiences this family dealt with are nothing compared to the physical and mental abuse that one black magic practicing family member dished out without discrimination. This is one book that will haunt your mind, long after you have finished reading.
Rating: Summary: She lived the book. Review: Jackie is a personal friend. She shared many of these stories before she wrote them. It was a gut-wrenching experience for her. I read the rough draft and the hair on the back of my neck stood up many times. It's wonder she's as sane as she is. It's all true.

Rating: Summary: Lies,Lies,Lies Review: Most of the imformation is false. Just look at reviews about trying to put her husband in the backyard for years. She lived in a world as now that is just like her lies in the book. Don't buy this book until she explaines why she made up theses lies. Her family must be ashamed of a book that she dreamed up. I know the family and they aren't afraid to live in the house today. The family lives in the house today. What world did she live in as a child. I knew of her father and he was a good family man. Her grandmother was a kind amd hardworking mother. She was a stern but kind person to all. She was the kind of person that believed u should be honest, kind, caring of others. She was never mean as I ever knew her. She had a hard life for the times when she was brought up. God Bless a Grandmother for being a example for her children. Today we should be so lucky to find such a fine person of such Morals and Character. The author need to get her story information correct from the family before doing such a book. The book isn't worth the money for such a paperback. Spend your money on something that is TRUE....................
Rating: Summary: Scared Me! Review: Saw the article in the Fingerlakes Times, was so intrigued I bought the book. Reading this book was scary - but I loved it. I can't imagine those things happening to me and am certainly glad they did'nt. Anyway great book, I give it my official Okey Dokey :) Meri
