Rating: Summary: The Konrad Trilogy... Review: I had never really read a book, until I came across the Konrad trilogy. I loved ever paragraph of these books; the story is a true masterpiece of an individual life. It is not for the faint hearted as it is gruesome from beginning to end. The ending of the story excellent, and will certainly leave you on a high. All in all, the Konrad Trilogy is an excellent insight to the world of Warhammer.
Rating: Summary: This was a surprisingly good novel. Review: Konrad is an excellent testament to the adage 'don't judge a book by it's cover (or it's length)'. The Warhammer logo was an immediate turn-off and had it not been for someone's favoured recommendation, I almost certainly would have passed it over. While it had the charm of a fairy-tale it is extremely grim from beginning to end, but in the best possible way. I especially enjoyed the description of the world's monsters- hordes of grey limbs, beaks and claws; haunting. I'm strongly looking forward to the next two books in the series.

Rating: Summary: A good nights read Review: Konrad was a fairly good book. It is a reprint from the old line of Warhammer novels. Being the first book in a trilogy you think it would end with at least some sense of closure, Konrad however has none whatsoever. Where as most books in a series have an episodic feel to them Konrad seems to just drop off.
Rating: Summary: A graphic work of art. Review: This book is is one of the best books ive ever read, and i read like 3 books a week, since like 5 years ago. This is awesome, i give it 5 stars heres why, the story makes you want to keep reading its clever, smart, and unique(star #1) The main character (konrad) is a very interesting person hes always changing and learning things, also the other characters such as wolf(the mercenary) elyssa (his friend, and many others are very well drawn.(star #2) The fighting is so very well narrarated its tells you every thing its graphic, gruesome, and very specific, if you like the lord of the rings battles, like those from the movie or book, youll love the ones in this book(star #3) Damn it im getting tired of typing, just get the damn book trust me, you wont regret it, and get 'Shadowbreed' and 'Warhammer' the other 2 books in the trilogy, both being equally as good as konrad, youll love the storys twists and turns, the fighting, the everything, ....
Rating: Summary: A good introduction to Warhammer Fantasy Review: Welcome to the world of Games Workshop's Warhammer Fantasy. This book is a part of Games Workshop's Black Libary collection. Konrad is the first of three books which will introduce you to the world of Warhammer. The book is somewhat tedious due to the constant senarios wherein Konrad has to move from place to place but the story is definately worth reading. Sit down and enjoy a fast paced read while Konrad learns of his destiny and struggles against the powers of Chaos.
