Summary: Original! Great fiction/non-fiction at it's best!
Review: I first read this book when it came out in Feb. 1995. I personally don't like to read, but it really captured my attention...especially on the GN'R point of view. I wanted to know how the chick died, and ended up reading the whole book. Del James' writing has helped me write short horror stories of my own in which I hope to someday publish. I know that he wrote these in conjunction of his own life but from a horror point of view...as did I. I strongly await any other books Mr. James has on the back-burner.

Review: I got this book a long time ago. But I let someone read it. I never got it back. I was hopeing to find it agen. I didn't get to read two of the storys. In it. If you find it love it as much as I did. I was hopping Del James would have put out more books. He is very good.

Review: I got this book because it has the story that the Guns N' Roses song "November Rain" is based upon but I ended up reading the whole thing several times over.To be honest,Del James puts a nail in the coffin of all the traditional boring horror books.I only wish I still had a copy of this book.It does suprise me that though so mant people seem to want this book that it's so hard to get.I was disappointed by the fact that on the last page it said he had a full length novel coming out.I've never seen it and would give anything to read it.

Review: I like most people readingg this book searched high and low for this book. I finally found it [PRICE], in a used books store .... I was so excited to read it, and read Without You first. I loved this story and there were also many other good tales in here. Some of the stories were too sci-fi for my taste. I would encourage Del to publish an extended version of Without You. If you are a sci-fi fan than this is the book for you. It not only is well writen and scary but there is also a good comedic flare to most stories.

Review: I purchased this book in February 1995, shortly after it's release. Like so many others, I was interested in this novel because of the Don't Cry and November Rain videos, and wanted to know the rest of the story. I was not let down.James has the unique ability of portraying reality and realism in a grasping way for his readers. The "horror" of his stories are not found in blood and gore, but in the fact that the tales he weaves are real; they can and do happen almost daily. He is a very observant person and displays his observations keenly. His discriptions are at once catching, something that is very difficult for even the most talented of writers. There are no boring scenes found here! There is a reason why this collection is so well sought after now. Not because it's a brief interlude in GNR history, but because James has a real aptitude as an author. I am troubled that he has never published anything else. Hopefully, someday he will!
