Summary: A TRUE WORK OF ART
Review: A friend recomened this book to me and I love it. Del James makes you think about stuff that is going on in real life and describes it so well. With the way he describes stuff you can fell the pain that the character is going through or what is on his or her mind. And when you put the book down I still get impacted on what went on. Its hard to put into words you just have to read the book.I think him and Stephen King are tied to be my favoriate authors.

Summary: I found it!
Review: After looking for this book for 3 years, I have finally found a copy of it but have not read it yet. Just about every review online that I have seen consists of people wondering where they can find this book. If you're looking for this book, I'm betting you're a Guns n' Roses fan, looking for clues to the November Rain video. You did not find this by chance, and whether or not the short stories in it receive good or bad reviews here, you will continue to search for this book. A bookstore in Chicago that specializes in new and used sci-fi, fantasy, and horror books had at least one copy for me. The bookstore's name is "The Stars Our Destination." Good Luck!

Summary: One of the best books ever!
Review: After years of looking for this book I didn't have any luck. One day I was checking out a second hand book store and I wasn't even looking for anything in particular when I came across this book. I couldn't put it down. It took me to a whole different world and I suddenly understood the whole story of November Rain. I love GNR and I loved this book. Del James is very ispirational and should write more. I feel very lucky on finding this book, it's so hard to find.

Summary: One of the best
Review: Although every story has a different meaning or fullfilment, that Del James try's to distinguish, "Without You" best describes his thoughts. Guns N Roses is without a doubt my favorite band, and will always be, yet when it came to make a video to shadow the story "Without You" The band let the directors write the video, not the band, therefore the grasp of the story wasn't ever told. Summary: Urban fear at its finest
Review: Del James has captuered the dark side of the human spirit... a VERY dark side. Its seen in 15 short stories that go from a porn theater to a high school; from a rock & roll star's mansion to the an illegal deathmatch arena:from a tatto saloon to the back alleys of what could be any major city. The vivid descriptions can only make you cringe; there are characters you will symapthize with... others you will come to loath. But all the stories have one thing in common: fear. As HP Lovecraft put it "The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind is fear". Its this emotion that will keep you from putting this book down.

Review: Del James takes eight everyday lives and shows what life is like for the people who go to the extreme. He brings you into their world where you can view life through their eyes and pain through their hearts.And also he has the short story "Without You" which is based on the GNR video November Rain! Very clear and down to the point author very talented man I cant wait till he reprints this book and writes more short storys!

Review: Every story Del has written in this collection can AND will effect every one of your senses. My personal favorites are "Without You", "The Immortals", and "High School Memoirs". Definately a must read!!!
