Rating: Summary: Keeps your attention from start to finish! Review: I have read a few of Jeffrey Deaver's books now and I enjoyed this one even more than the Bone Collector, although another excellent book. You have to have at least some interest in Forensics and law enforcement because the book can get detailed but it doesn't loose you at any point. I highly recommend reading this book if you like suspense, villians and good guys (and gals)
Rating: Summary: Excellent Book - Well Written Review: I really enjoyed this book. It was a quick easy read - but VERY well written. Deaver writes a very concise enjoyable book. This is a great cat-and-mouse story with very interesting twists. I would recommend this to anyone.
Rating: Summary: suspense thriller at its best Review: Jeffery Deaver keeps outdoing himself. "A Maiden's Grave" and "The Bone Collector" were terrific reads and "The Coffin Dancer" is as good, if not better. I read the entire book in one day because I couldn't put it down and the plot twist towards the end was really surprising.
Rating: Summary: Great!!! Review: I read all Deaver's previous books and those were terrific! But Coffin Dancer is the best so far! The ending was great! Had to stop and read some parts over to make sure that I didn't miss anything. I expect to see the Dancer again in his futuer Lincoln Rhyme books. The Bone Collector is being made into a movie starring Denzel Washington as Lincoln Rhyme and Angelique Jolie as Amelia Sachs. Can't wait to see it!
Rating: Summary: A most excellent read. Review: Enjoyed this novel completely. Mr Deaver does a fine job in describing "crime scene" procedure, forensic analysis and the cat and mouse game that ensues between Lincoln Rhyme and the "bad guys." Very good and unexpected ending.
Rating: Summary: Excellemt fast paced book. Review: Read the review of this book in PEOPLE on Sunday. Went out that evening and bought book and finished reading it the next day. Have never read any of Deaver's books before but I went out the next day and bought 3 more including the first one about Lincoln, The Bone Collector. Enjoyed the way he used time frame in developing the story. Also enjoyed the way he developed the Amelia/Lincoln relationship.
Rating: Summary: Quincy plus Seven=deadly good fun! Review: A great read with characters that are lifelike and careworthy. The biggest plot twist since the crying game!
Rating: Summary: Great Review: I didn't get much sleep this month having read Michael Crichton's AIRFRAME two weeks ago, Craig Furnas's THE SHAPE last week, and then Jeff Deaver's THE COFFIN DANCER this week...They kept me up past my bed time; I couldn't stop turning the pages, and THE COFFIN DANCER is the best of the three, so is to be recommended highly. I LOVE that the protagonist is a quadriplegic. One of my main beefs about fiction is that the heroes rarely have to worry about losing a contact lense during a chase scene, much less having no use of their limbs...And this hero has to deal with that, which adds to, rather then detracts from, the tension throughout the story.
Rating: Summary: Doesn't Live Up To The Bone Collector Review: After reading The Bone Collector and A Maiden's Grave, I couldn't wait to read The Coffin Dancer. Unfortunatly, although this is a good mystery, I don't think it packs the punch of Deaver's previous books.
Rating: Summary: Excellent Novel Review: I really enjoyed this book. It could have been a little longer, but that is my only complaint.
