Summary: PIKE'S NEWEST BOOK WAS GOOD BUT NOT HIS BEST.
Review: THE GRAVE IS CHRISTOPHER PIKE'S NEWEST BOOK AND IT WAS PRETTY GOOD BUT NOT THE BEST. WHAT I LIKED THE MOST ABOUT THIS BOOK WAS THAT IT WAS VERY SUSPENSEFUL AND IT HAD A CREATIVE PLOT TO IT. THIS WAS A GOOD BOOK BUT I HAVE READ BETTER FROM MR. PIKE. IF YOU ARE A BIG FAN OF CHRISTOPHER PIKE, LIKE ME, I WOULD RECOMMENED THIS BOOK.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Thrilling and Intreguing novel of immortality
Review: This book disgusted me! I love Christopher Pike books, but his recent stuff (Magic Fire and the Grave) have been repelent. This one had way to much sexual content, and wasn't even that good to read. The style was diffrent, and to be honest the characters were flat. I really hope that Mr. Pike's next book is better. I miss his books like Remember Me and Gimme A Kiss. Those books had sex and everything, but to a certian restraint. This book was just disgusting. If you want a good Pike book read the two mentioned above and the Last Vampire series.

Summary: Really creepy, really good!
Review: This book is the best! I LOVE Christopher Pike, and this book is so creepy! I love the beggining, and if you love to be scared, read this book

Summary: NO MORE PIKE FOR ME!
Review: This is Christopher Pike's latest novel, and I definitely feel that it was his worst. The story was incredibly dull and uninteresting. I didn't care for "Magic Fire" ahead of this one, but this one was worse. That is probably why Mr. Pike is not writing anymore novels, because his sales are so bad. If you like the young adult series read the Fear Street series by R.L. Stine. I would recommend those novels for ages 10-13. If you are older than 13, I would definitely advise moving to the adult novels!

Summary: Typical Pike book
Review: This is just another typical Pike book. It starts out great, and ends up terrible. I have read every book he's ever written and this falls somewhere near the bottom of my favorites. Since EXECUTION OF INNOCENCE his books have gone downhill. I am sorry to say that I am no longer a fan and will not be purchasing anything else he writes.

Summary: A very suspenseful book.
Review: This story was very scary until the end. I think the last chapter kind of sucked. But the rest of the story was pretty good. If you like suspenseful books then this is a good one.

Summary: sub-par and awful
Review: To allow you to understand where i am coming from, let me first say that I have read almost all of CHristopher Pike's book in the past, and throughout my years have considered him to be an extremely fine writer. That said, let me now go on to describe why The Grave is CP's worst effort to date. And you can't even say, "Well it's still better than a lot of other stuff out there," because it's NOT! It's THAT BAD! The characters are two dimensional, the incredibly boring revivals of characters we've encountered in the past - the interesting, soulful guy, the cute but still sexy in her own way poor girl next door, and the good looking but evil for whatever reason (usually b/c of something that happened in the past or an alternate universe) bad guy(s). The plot is terrible too. it lacked suspense and was incredibly uninteresting. at least before, in CP's earlier books, everything felt somewhat believable, the way he could incorporate mysticism and spirituality with the madness of science. but this book!!!! this book falls flat on its face!!! i don't know if he was even trying - i have to agree with the other reviewers that said his books have started to take an ugly turn for the worse. I mean, I hated his Final Friends series, but at least those were written with some kind of style. This one is a horrible remashing of things he's written before, and the only reason it got published is because it's under the Christopher Pike name. But diehard fans will still read this and buy it, and fans who have yet to have an discerning judgment will still crow that "This book is the best!" But for those of you who find it harder to find books worthy of rave reviews, steer clear of this one! Among my favorite CP books are The Remember Me series (well, the 3rd one wasn't so hot), The Midnight Game, Whisper of Death, and any others from around that period. For the newbie fans, steer clear of the earliest ones and the most recent ones. The middle ones were his hey-day. You can tell he really hit his groove then. Oh and if you want a REALLY awesome read, read the Anita Blake series by Laurell K. Hamilton. Wooo those things are hard to put down!

Review: Yes, I've read most of Pike's[Christopher]books. I've found that he uses the same names and descriptions for the same feelings. All his books follow the same blueprint and I hoped this book would be different, but unfortunetly it wasn't. If you are thinking of reading this book or any other book of Pike's, please read the reiview's on it first. I recomend that you try some of his eariler books, for they are the only ones with any originality.
