Rating: Summary: This is a great book i ecourage every one to read it! Review: Melody is a girl who cant find out her past. Her so-called grandmother is keeping family secrets from her so her own family name will not be destroyed. She slowly finds herself falling in love with her cousin Cary, after she is forced to live with him and his family so her mother can persue an acting career.
Rating: Summary: This book is a must have!! Review: I love this book. Its the first one i ever read of heres and it has got me hooked. The book was really sad at some points but it was all around great! If your looking for a new author V.C Andrews is the one to get hooked with!

Rating: Summary: Spellbinding work of art Review: I bought this book at a garage sale, and I had never read V.C. Andrews before. I must admit, I am now hooked. I couldn't put the book down. The story line was intricate and exciting. The characters were very realistic, and by the end of the book you got to know the characters so well that you cheered for Melody and Cary and booed Adam Jackson. Each character was so very different so that each one of us could identify with at least one of the characters. By the end, you had laughed, cried, and cheered. This book is certainly a worthwhile read.
Rating: Summary: An absolute bore Review: I was kind of forced to buy the book as it was the only English title I could find in a German bookstore. Andrews doesn't seem to experiment with writing techniques. You've read one, you've read all. Trash it.
Rating: Summary: Cool. Review: This book was one of the first V.C. Andrews books I read. It was very good, but I don't understand why in all of her books, the girls always try to hang out with the snotty girls instead of nicer ones first. Then, when they do hang out with the nicer people they're surprised the other girls don't like them anymore.
Rating: Summary: My fav Review: This is a really good book. I have read many of the V.C. Andrews books and this one is one of my favorites. Although V.C. Andrew books are my favorites there are a few flaws that I didn't miss. Many of the books are somewhat alike and I find that trait somewhat annoying. Also I have noticed that many words are used repeatedly. Aside from these few flaws the stories are well thought out.
Rating: Summary: In a Caliber all by itself Review: I found this book intriguing, and on the same level as Ruby and its sequel. I read it in one sitting, and thought the emotion tied into the words was subtle, yet outstanding at the same time. It's based on an ordinary character, and the plot is so realistic that you can imagine Melody sitting on the stage of a talk show crying out her problems.
Rating: Summary: Very Interesting Review: I thought this book was very cool because it was very dramatic. It kept you on the edge of your seat. It had you hating Hallie, Grandma Olivia, and Uncle Jacob and loving Cary, Grandpa Samuel, and May. Wonderful!
