Summary: SOS - SAME OLD STORY, STANDARD OBVIOUS SCRIPT
Review: Another tired installment featuring a talented, long haired protagonist who is a daddy's girl. Another irresponsible, flighty mother, close relationship with a brother figure, twins thrown into the mix and of course a bitter old woman named Olivia. V.C. Andrews stories really seem to feature cruel harpies named Olivia. Questionable paternity, questionable fraternity and bizarre bloodlines all come out in the wash, as one would expect from the standard forumula.

Tired, standard fare. This is something you read when you are waiting in the doctor's office and nobody left behind a newspaper. It's a quick read and it is so tired and predictable.

Summary: What secrets lie in Melody's past?
Review: Melody lives a quiet life in a coal mineing town. She's not rich but she has a good family life. But when tragedy strikes her life she's torn out of her town and forced to drvie with her mother and her mothers new boyfriend up to her aunt and uncles home. Here Melody meets sweet little deat May, her gruff uncle, her overprotective Cary, and her aunt who's one wish is to see her dead daughter again. Melody wants nothing more than to leave but when her mother anounces that she's going to be living with them she's shocked. SUddenly she's in her deceased cousins old room and realizing that everything she knows is a lie, but she dosen't know the truth. Can she find out the secrets from her past? Or is she better off back in her old home?

I really enjoyed this book. It told a thilling tale of a girl who discovers that everything she knows isn't real and her struggle to find the truth. If you're a fan on VC ANdrews I reccomend this book. Though I'm pretty new to her full length novels (this beign my 3rd) I bet the rest of them are just as good. I'll be sure to read the rest of this series!

Summary: Logan Series
Review: I enjoy V.C Andrews books and have read most of them, but I am having a little trouble knowing which book read first in the Logan series before I read the next one. I first read Melody and then Heart Song next. Is there one before Melody I should have read? I would appreciate very much if someone could help me out with this problem. Thanks so much

Summary: WHY???......
Review: I love V.C. Andrews books. She is a great author, and I want to know why she did this. The book was ok, but it rambled on for 5 whole books, when it could have been two. You know the whole story, and it re-tells you 3 times!! I didn't even read the last one! Well I won't hold it against her because I've read the Wildflowers series, and it was great!

Summary: Predictable
Review: When I start reading VC Andrew's books, I find it difficult to put them down. Her stories make me want to finish the whole book. I must say that her stories are told very interestingly. But I feel that if you read too much of her books at one go, you will feel bored. Melody's story is quite predictable but there is one aspect that I don't quite agree with VC Andrews books. There is usually someone in the family who is bible-spouting. I must say this puts a very bad image on Christianity. Maybe instead of always incest, VC Andrews can add other plots like missing persons, or murders. Usually, VC Andrews books are under horror, so why not put these plots in? At least it will be quite refreshing than the usual mystery of the girl's birth history.

Summary: Not worth any stars (I was forced to put 1 down)
Review: I am a huge fan of V.C. Andrews, but I can no longer read the books being written by the ghostwriter. He just doesn't have the heart that V.C Andrews had when she wrote her stories. It's obvious that this guy is just doing it for the money. V.C. Andrews wrote heroines that were strong and sensible. The ghostwriter's heroines are weak, stupid and naive. It's so irritating to read about lame characters like that! Ghostwriter, please stop writing in her name! The only ones who appreciate your books are junior high kids. Go back and analyze V.C.'s original books. Try to emulate the strong characters that she created!

Summary: Sadly Superficial
Review: How anyone who has read other VCA books and can like this book I will not understand. It really has no depth, no intriguing plot, nothing. The only reason I finished the series was to find out who Melody's father was. I liked the Ghostwriter until this series, sadly a rushed pathetic excuse of a novel. Melody was a nice girl, but was paper-thin really.

Summary: Outstanding
Review: To be honest, this was a book I grabbed in a mad dash to get as many books as possible at the local library $0.25 per book sale. This is not a book that I would usually find to read, but boy was I ever glad I got it. For weeks, I left this book sitting on the bookshelf collecting dust, and when I finally started it, I could NOT put it down! This book left me screaming for more in the series and I highly recommend this to everyone!
