Summary: BEWARE, THE SNOWMAN:
Review: "When the snow blows wild,
And the days grow old
Beware the Snowman, my child
Beware the Snowman
He brings the cold"

So says the opening lines of another one of my favorite RL Stine books, Beware the Snowman. Its a chilling Tale with a good story and good characters and such its prolly one of the most developed Goosebumps books.

Jacelyn is a 12yrs girl from Chicago, she didn't ask her aunt if they could move to Shirpia and her and didn't ask her. She just one day told her they were moving there. Moving to nowhere'sville. A land filled with only snow,a church, some houses, mountains, and a small post office.

The creepiest thing about the town was the fact that in front of every house was a snowman with a dark coal eyes, a red scarf, and a deep scare on his right cheek.

There was nothing this for Jacelyn to do, no movies,no mall,no NOTHING!!! But she went exploring and she made a couple of friends with weird superstitions Rolanda and her brother.

To know more READ THE BOOK!!! It doesn't ONLY appeal to younger kids (. . .)

Summary: Awful.
Review: Awful. Absolutely awful. What was R.L. Stine trying toaccomplish with this? The prose is about as complex as that of a 6thgrad english student's, and it didn't scare me at all. This ain't something that I'd reccomend to those folks who, for whatever, sit around the campfire and tell scary stories, either. The Snowman creatures just didn't threaten me. There's not a single good laugh in the whole book (unless you're one of those irritating people who snicker at kitsch) and not an ounce of nuance.
