Summary: Interesting story
Review: I liked this book, though, in a way it was unrealistic, but still it was interesting. I've always thought it would be cool to totally switch places with someone, and in a way switch into a new life. Mary Lee get's to do this when her twin sister dies. Now SHE'S getting all the attention, SHE'S getting the perfect life. But all is not as it seems, as Mary Lee comes to realize that her sister was someone she never would want to be, something evil.

Summary: A Real Let Down!
Review: I love Caroline B. Cooney's writing. Her characters are so vivid and realistic. However, after reading the Janie series, and putting much time, and emotion in that series.
I was very disappointed with this book. It was almost like this is just a fill in for Cooney. She can write MUCH better then this and create much more intreating characters.
The main characters were so shallow and well just plain weird. Even for me and I love weird stuff.
Do not get this book after reading the Face on the Milk Cartoon series. if you want to start reading her and read something weird. Then get TWINS first and after get her better books.
Because this I don't know what she was thinking when she wrote it.

Summary: I couldn't read it all
Review: I love Caroline B. Cooney, and I can't wait for her new book to come out, but I can't say I liked this one. It was too confusing. I didn't get it, it sounded more to me like a book about a girl that had trouble in school then a book about a girl that had a freak for a twin sister. I had to stop reading because it was too boring. If you wanna read a good book by Caroline B. cooney read On both sides of time, Wanted, Hush little baby, or the face on the milk carton.

Summary: The best book ever written!!!!!
Review: I love Caroline B. Cooney. she is the best author. the book "twins" is strait to the point. i could'nt put it down. they "love" between the sisters and the one twins boy friend and what they did was really creepy. How every one knew and no one said any thing.

Summary: I reccomend it for anyoneover 7 yrs. old
Review: I read this book for the first time in my 6th grad year. After I read it I had to buy it. I even read it today. Caroline B. Cooney is and execelent author and this book is simply fabulous. She makes you feel like you are the character portrayed in the book. I love it and I'm sure that you will too.

Summary: Not her best
Review: I really like Caroline B Cooney's books and I decided to buy this one. It kept my attention and I read it in one evening, but really it is unrealistic. First of all my best friends at my school are identical twins and seriously I can tell them appart easily. I sometimes have to do a double take if they are over 100 feet away but as soon as I talk with them look them in the eye I can tell. And yet in the story Madrigal's boyfriend who the book says adores her can't tell her appart from her sister. Come on, it can't be both. Also, though it goes into it a tiny bit in the french class, how could she know how her sister acted in her classes, she had to learn how to be her sister while she was there. I was thinking that maybe her sister might have written a journal but no, she had nothing to go on.
Another imperfection is that the characters are really 2D. Mary Lee is good, Jon Pear is evil (and no one in the world is truely evil), and Mary Lee's parents are just foolish. Van's noble, Scarlette's hurt, and the boarding school girls are shallow. Caroline B. Cooney usually has well rounded characters but this one she misses the mark.

Summary: Worst book I've ever read
Review: I really loved Caroline B. Cooney's other books, but this one was incredibly awful. The plot was totally implausible: if this girl was so close to her twin, how could she not know the truth about her? It's repetitive, going on and on about how much Mary Lee misses Madrigal, and Mary Lee's feelings about John Pear, Madrigal's boyfriend. And some of the lines are really overdone. For example: "John Pear's laugh flipped in wild peals like a Frisbee." I would definitely recommend reading the other books she's written, but not this one.

Summary: A great book
Review: I think that this book is great. The main character is going through the realization that she was deceived by everyone she loves. All the while, cooney makes her misfortunes into a thriller. An autor who can twist a sory into whatever she feels like making it is truly an author. It's a really great book.

Summary: AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Review: I think this is one of the best stories I have read so far. The story was so chilling, frightening and real. Only sometimes I had trouble keeping my attention to it since Cooney rushes from one point to another. SO you have to read slowly to know everything, or you will surely miss a point. This books was VERY good and I recommend it to everyone!!!!!
