Rating: Summary: one of the best young adult novels I have ever read Review: As a teenager, this was one of my favorite novels. Today I can still remember lots of details about the story -- it kept me flipping the pages for hours and I thought the characters were great. To this day scenes from the book are still vivid in my mind (like Helen using the bottle of mouthwash to break through the bathroom window while the stalker is unscrewing the bathroom door). I must have read this book around five or six times -- maybe more -- and I was constantly recommending it to my friends. I recently saw the movie and I HATED it -- it wasn't at all faithful to the novel. I was so pissed off after seeing the movie that I bought a copy of the novel and reread it -- it was just as wonderful as I remembered! In fact, I plan on buying the rest of Lois Duncan's backlist because I enjoyed her books so much and they bring back fond childhood memories..
Rating: Summary: the movie is a lot better!!!! Review: I THOUGHT IT WAS REALLY GOOD BUT AFTER I SAW THE MOVIE I THOUGHT BACK AND SAID THAT IT WAS OKAY AND COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER IF THE AUTHOR HAD GOTTEN INTO MORE DETAIL ABOUT THE CHARACTERS AND THE SCENES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BOOK TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A SHORT AND SUSPENSEFUL QUICK READ!
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK WAS THE BEST I'VE READ IN YEARS!!!!!!! Review: AFTER WATCHING THE MOVIE SCREAM, I WAS TOLD TO READ THIS BOOK; I LOVED IT!!! THE STORY WAS GREAT--A THRILLER NONE THE LESS. IT DESERVES MORE THAN A TEN!!!
Rating: Summary: THIS BOOK WAS THE MOST THRILLING BOOK THAT I HAVE EVER READ. Review: THE MOST THRILLING BOOK EVER. I HOPE TO SEE MORE BOOKS TO COME OUT JUST LIKE THIS ONE. IT WAS AWSOME I COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN. IT WAS GREAT

Rating: Summary: One of the Best Books I have ever Read!!!!!!!!!! Review: I thought that this book was really good. I looked the way it is written and the story line was Wounderful. It will take you no time at all to read this book. I really enjoied the suspence and how there seemed to be two characters out of one person.
Rating: Summary: I know what you did last summer, Anna's review Review: this book was pretty good. i love lois duncan books. but i liked the movie better.
Rating: Summary: Way Better than the movie! Review: This Book is way better than the movie! The movie was unpredictable but really just wasn't that excting! Maybe because Jennifer Love Hewitt was screaming at the top of her lungs at every little thing, I don't know. But anyway, the book was better. It had a better opening in the book than the movie. The book wasn't all blood and gore it was just a good suspensful book, unlike the movie which had all this blood and gore. The book is a real page turner and i will recommened it to anyone! It is possibly the best book I have read so far! (age 15)
Rating: Summary: Best book ever Review: When I read this book I couldn't stop it is the best book I have ever read. The movie is very lame though and is nothing like the book. So don't make your decision of the book off the movie. Also I recomend you read the book before watching the movie.
Rating: Summary: book Review: I had to read this for school one year. I automatically hated it since it was my assignment. I opened the book and gave it a chance. Very good story from beginning to end. Being forced to read ain't so bad after all.
