Rating: Summary: Sacry and thrilling! Review: The best book i ever read. It was scary gruesome, but I could put it down. 4 freinds hit a person in one very scary summer night. You read the rest!
Rating: Summary: I was very disapointed Review: Well to start out with, it wasn't very intense or tension filled like so many other of Duncan's books (like Locked in time, or don't look behind you) I saw the movie later on and it was fantastic. But the book was dull
Rating: Summary: The book was very different from the movie!!!!!!!! Review: I finished the book about a month before I heard about the movie. I really loved the book and couldn't wait to see the movie. I was kinda dissappointed to find out that the movie was completely different from the book. I loved them both though.
Rating: Summary: A MEMORABLE BOOK!! Review: I read this book about 10 years ago. It was one of my favorites! I has stayed vivid in my memory ever since reading it. When the movie came out I was really excited about seeing it, but was a little dissapointed that the plot was different. The plot of the book was much more intense I think.
Rating: Summary: I Know What You Did Last Summer Review: Hi, my name is Paige Hombs. I am from Boonville, Mo. I have recently read I Know What You Did last Summer by Lois Duncan. I liked this book, but it really wasn't my favorite. It was about four friends (two couples) that hit someone one night, and it was an accident. Only one of the friends were drinking, but he was not driving, so they can't blame it on him. After that accident, things just went down hill. The friends didn't even keep in touch with one another. Then the summer after they hit this person, someone came back to haunt them. This person played all kinds of nasty games with the friends, and ruined their friendship. They all blamed one another, and that caused them to loose everything they ever had. I can't tell you who this person is, because it would ruin the book. But, after they found out who it was, they thought it was over, because they thought that they had killed him. They were wrong though. The end of the book is very suprising, and somewhat scary. I would rate this book an eight, because I liked it, but there were also parts that I didn't like. The parts that I didn't like, were the unnessacery ones. I felt like there quite a few of those parts too. Other than that, though it was a great book. I would reccomend this book to you if you like scary books, and enjoy reading them. I hope that you will read I Know What You Did Last Summer by Lois Duncan, and enjoy it. If you do read it, e-mail me if you would like, and tell me how you liked it, and what you thought of it. I think that Lois Duncan did a great job of writing this book, and everyone should read it. Thank you for your time.
Rating: Summary: Who cares what the movie's like, the book's great! Review: Now, I can't tell you if the movie or the book is better because I havn't seen the movie. I believe that the book should not be compared to the movie. They are two very different plots. I had to read this book for school. I thought it was great! Who cares what the movie's like. Enjoy the book, then go and see the movie. You can form your own opnions. I advise that if you like suspense, you should definitely read this book. It's great!
Rating: Summary: This book is a great book! Review: I thought Lois Duncan did a great job in this book. It is full of suspense, mystery and surprising turns. It's about a group of four teenagers who one summer commit a terrible crime. They hit a little boy who had been riding home one night from a friend's house. After a few years they are sent suspicious notes and pictures, bringing those painful memories of that dreadful night.
Rating: Summary: A Fantastic Book! Review: I thought Lois Duncan wrote a great book. This book was a Interesting book too. It attracts the readers attention. A mystery book. A teenager type book. This book is about 4 teenagers, who commeited a terrible crime, last summer by accident. A Surprising Book!
Rating: Summary: I never wanted this book to end!! Review: This book sparked my interest after I saw the motion picture "I Know What You Did Last Summer". I wanted to see how close the movie was to the book. Much to my surprise the movie did not even come close. The book is an absolute thriller, 10 times better than the movie. I was hoping that the pages would go on forever, so I could keep reading it. I read the entire thing in one day, because after I started reading I could not stop. It's is totally awesome!
Rating: Summary: I Know What You Did Last Summer: Movie vs. Book......... Review: I saw a commercial for the movie, and I thought it looked good, so I got the book right away when I saw it in a store. The book ended up being a pretty good book, but it was to slow paced until the very end were everything happened way too fast. the movie was more fast-paced,and WAY more scary. the book is ok and very interesting but the movie is way better. When I saw how different the book was from the movie, I was amazed. since kids like scarier things, being a kid, I liked the movie more. The book gets an 8. The movie gets a 10.
