Rating: Summary: MADNESS!! Review: I happened to read this book in Pittsburgh, where my flight was delayed. Someone had left a brand new copy, perhaps purchased from the airport gift store and left behind. Having not read a VC Andrews book since the first books of the Cutler series (I was in middle school then, now a freshman in college), I picked it up with some caution and read the whole book while waiting for my plane to arrive. When I finished, I remembered why I could never finish the Cutler family series. These books are a travesty to VC Andrews. They are cheap imitations, gathering events from the original VC Andrews novels and barely disguising them. Why her family lets this continue is beyond me! The woman died long ago; her legacy of storytelling should have gone with her to rest in dignity. No, her books are not classics or literary masterpieces, they are often dismissed as smut. But when I got home, I found my old dog-earred copies of "My Sweet Audrina"..."Heaven".."Dark Angel"..."Flowers in the Attic"..the originals...and reread them. Her books are not known for being classics but for the strange, compelling psychological aspects of the characters. All told in a language of Gothic horror and a tounge which truly knows the pain and suffering of incest, abandonment, poverty and shame. Rereading them, I remembered why I loved them as a child, because they gave these issues, with which I am familiar, a cloak of romanticism. The new series, with their banal dialogues and stolen plots, are cheapening VC Andrews' legacy and need to be stopped! -a concerned reader
Rating: Summary: It was very good Review: I have all of V.C.Andrew's books. I've been reading them since I was twelve and I have not stopped. Its just sad that they are getting so expensive.
Rating: Summary: It was a great book and I hope for more!! Review: I have been reading V.C.Andrews for years and I thought this book was wonderful!! I think the fourth book in this series needed to be about Melody&Cary getting married, instead of about Laura.I'm writing my own version of what comes next and if you want to read it feel free to call me at 564-5625.Thanx!!!!
Rating: Summary: Same plot as all others. Review: I have read all of V.C. Andrews books until now. It doesn't take a genius to notice that all books have the same plot and writing style. Even though the writer does know how to creat suspense that keeps you wnating to read more. The Logan FAmily series seems to be better as it is placed some what in modern days more related to us. Other book such as Flowers in the Attic are too fictional even to fiction books. I like her books and I am glad to know that there are more of them coming out soon.
Rating: Summary: This book was really an attention grabber!! Review: I like this book a lot! I love V.C. Andrews' books so much. This story made me keep reading chapter after chapter. I couldn't put it down. Each event captivates you. The ending was a little unclear though. I wish it would have turned out a little different and I am sure many of you can agree with me. I still rate it as a must read book! It helps to read the 1st (Melody)and 2nd (Heart Song) novel before Unfinished Symphony, so you know more about the characters.
Rating: Summary: She Getting Closer to the Truth! Review: I read this book in one day! It takes you on a journey to New York City, L.A. and then back to the cape where many things begin to unfold. I can't wait for the next one! It left me wanting more!!

Rating: Summary: very good! Review: I really like this book but author forgot some things he wrote i might have missed something but when holly's sister gave melody that dress and then when she went to live with her mom she told her she wanted her to have it! but when she left she took it with her like she never gave it to her mom! i think if she desided she wanted it back the book should have said something about it! but beside that i loved the book!!!

Rating: Summary: INTERESTING Review: I think that this was a really good book. I love to read ALL of V.C. Andrews book but ever since she passed away, her books haven't been the same. I still like to read the books though and will continue to. I liked how Cary and Melody became involved with one another. I liked how Melody stook up to her grandmother and wouldn't back down. I don't like Oliva, she is so wrong and mean. She will get what she deserves one day. Hallie is a bad mother for the simple fact that she dumped Melody off at realitives house that she didn't even know. Other than this, the book was really good and thrilling to read. I hope that in the future though, the aurthor continuing for Andrews will get better and stop puttig in information and then in another book forgetting about it. Good luck if you choose to read this book!
